BAGHDAD / Nina /-- Vice President of the Republic Nuri al-Maliki called on Turkey to back down on its decision to send troops to Iraq.

He said in a press release: " I calls the Turkish parliament to annul its decision to send military forces to Iraq describing the decision as to bypass Iraqi sovereignty , calling on the Iraqi parliament in the same time to reject what he called the Turkish intervention.

The Turkish parliament has approved yesterday to send military forces to Iraq and Syria to fight / Daash / within the international coalition forces. / End
