A true Lady and wife to one of the greatest leaders in modern history. I may be an Aussie, but I sure miss the security and friendship the "Gipper" gave us. God speed you, Ma'am.

No offence meant to Yota whatsoever, but this looks like regurgitated news: http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/204568-iraq-mp-prosecute-al-maliki-at-the-icc/?hl=%2Binternational+%2Bcourt http://aliraqnews.com/%D8%B3%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%B3%D9%8A%D8%A9/%D9%82%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%B1-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%85%D8%A9-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AF%D9%88%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A9%D8%A7%D8%AD%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A9-%D9%86%D9%88%D8%B1%D9%8A-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%84/

Iraq, ISIS angered as Turkey hoards Euphrates waters
Geck replied to k98nights's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
I remember reading a dissertation by a former US General back in the late 80's stating that warfare in the 21st century would not be of a conventional manner of opposing geopolitical forces, but rather established states against faceless terrorist organisations of varying ideological and economic aims. He also stated that conventional modern warfare methods such as "conquer and control" of land and populations wouldn't be enough, but rather the control of primary resources that are required to sustain life (such as water) would be of the highest priority. In other words: We can't teach these bastiches how to be civilized because they're so indoctrinated, so we need to grind them down through attrition. Darned for the life of me if I can remember the name of the papers and the General! I've been searching for it for years! Anyway, although I don't agree with the Turks cutting off water to the Iraqi and Kurdish people, I believe that we can learn from this. Our strategic leaders should consider ways to cut off basic resources to ISIS (as well as economic) whilst continuing ongoing surgical strikes. Only through modern siege-warfare can we hope to win against these barbaric monsters. -
