Baghdad, Iraq (CNN) - The United States has increased its military presence in Iraq, ordering 300 more troops to the violence-ravaged nation, the Pentagon announced Monday.

The new troops, 200 of whom arrived Sunday and Monday, will provide security for the U.S. Embassy, the Baghdad airport and other facilities in Iraq, Pentagon spokesman Rear Adm. John Kirby said.

The deployment includes "a detachment of helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles, which will bolster airfield and travel route security," Kirby said in a written statement.

The 300 troops are in addition to 300 U.S. advisers who will help train Iraq's security forces. They will bring the total of American forces in Iraq to about 800 troops.

Agreed Trinitye, at least Baghdad will be heavily guarded. I think 800 is more then enough to wipe out these animals.

U.S. official about the reasons for sending more troops to Iraq: we have seen Daash Athacdon around Baghdad

Twilight News / attributed the U.S. official, on Tuesday, the reasons for sending his country's Ministry of Defense for additional troops to Iraq for its militants "Daash" Balthhid around the capital Baghdad.

 

A source of U.S. responsible for CNN and seen by "Twilight News", the reasons for the payment of more U.S. troops there, saying that "Daash" "still pose a real threat to Baghdad and its environs ..".

"I've seen them rally themselves around Baghdad Lima enough to convince us that sending more troops is a prudent step to do it."

She said the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon), said on Monday the United States is stepping up its military presence in Iraq once again to send about 300 more troops there to add to the collection of helicopters and drones.

This comes in addition to the 300 troops adviser Eksri Obama is sending them to Iraq to take charge of the establishment of two joint operations. They will also assess how the United States can provide additional support. There are already 180 of these advisers in Iraq.

The U.S. soldiers in similar joint operations center in Baghdad Bhma information about the situation on the ground and oversee the American soldiers who are evaluating the capabilities of the Iraqi army in the field.
