Dont matter what Shabbs said.. hes out of the picture. There has been so much progress, that we shouldnt let this bring us down. We are VERY close to the end of this .. it cant go on like this forever.... Everything that has a beginning has an End.. so keep your chin up.. we are almost done!

With all respect...what progress? Same status as of three years ago. no hcl...no ch7, no full erbil agreement...no power sharing....and maliki aiding iran and syria as he eradicates anyone with power over the money.

i know your keeping positive......but . how do you see us at the end? Wheres the evidence?.

ch7 is about to be fully lifted, parts of it have come off already (see Iraq-Kuwait flights, Iraq to London, EU giving Iraq its funds Etc).. the HCL is agreed upon, just needs to be passed.. Articles have stated the % to the citizens, Minsters issue has been resolved, ive read the article myself.. research it if needed, Erbil agreement also has parts that have been implemented. As for Maliki... everyone that doenst know any better thinks he is the big problem, the big hold up.. but thats not true. Allawis Iraqi list has been the problem, and the Kurds have been part of it also.. but look who didnt show up again in Parliament today....the Iraqia List. Yup. Same Sunnis that dont like that they are no longer the ruling party. This bloc of religious radicals would rather see the country fail JUST so they can say ite the Shites fault. Thats all they want to have is the I told u so, at the expense of the entire country if need be. Thats the type of stubborn ignorance we are dealing with. Maliki wants this done, he wants the RV to happen (thats y he ousted Shabbs and his crew cuz they were stalling while stealing funds). Maliki himself said he wants to retire and his party (National alliance) and the Kurds have agreed to let him remain in power until 2014, then hes done and they can vote in a new PM, whether it be a Shia, Sunni or Kurd.

So please stop blaming M and his party.. they are NOT the problem. Also.. this country has a LOT of international plans... cant see them delaying the progress of the entire country much longer due to a dispute over $$... that should get worked out and then we will see everything happen in a very short timeframe, IMO.

u misread the article.. thats not what it said. IT said that it could take 4 yrs to repay the 13 billion $ IRaq owes Kuwait. Now, Kuwait wants it all at once.. but Iraq wants to make payments... they already paid the 500 mil for the airline issue, so thats resolved.. and they paid 5 billion of the 18 billion owed. So.. there is 13 billion left. Iraq CAN pay it all off at once.. but they would rather pay it in payments.. that could take 3-4 years.

The mere fact that Iraq started flying to  Kuwait last week, and to London today.. shows that ch7 has started to lift. Also, there was an article yesterday basically saying they are removed from ch7, and into ch6. The Kuwait delegation will arrive in Iraq this week to sign off on it.

and what does any of that have to do with rving a currency? The question is deleting three zeroes......will they or wont they?

Anything else in iraq is irrelevent.

When ch7 is fully lifted, the Dinar will be able to be traded internationally.. .Do YOU think they will keep the rate at the artifical program rate of 1166???? hmmm? I dont.

yes. many countries have tradable currencies with worst exchange rates. so...why is it. theyMust rv?

Iran ans syrias mess is spilling over. you think investors have great demand for the dinar? Nope

Do these many countries have the resources (oil, natural gas, sulfur) that Iraq does? Nope. Do they have 68 Billion and 29.5 tons of gold in thier foreign reserves? nope.

Do you know ANY company that makes 180 Bilion dollars a year off just ONE of thier products, but whose stock , after an IPO, is worth 1/10 of a penny???

Being negative about this investment is easy.. but finding facts to back up the negativity, isnt. :)

Well, Iraq has been bringin in the 3 zero notes for quite a while now, so there arent Trillions and Trillions of dinars out there. Research the currency auctions .

I dont mean to sound.. well... mean.. but a lot of your info isnt up to date at all.

Also.. if u think they care about how much dinar we have, as investors, then im sorry.. they dont.

So.. maybe u can explain to me what U think will happen. What does a country value thier currency at, after 23 years of sanctions, when the history of thier currency has always been 3-1 AND thier major export (oil) is now worth THREE times what it was back in 1990?

Also explain to me the regional effect this might have if Iraq doesnt revalue thier currency to a competitive rate, when within the region you have Jordan, Bahrain, Tunasia and Kuwait all worth more then they are? How can the #2 exporter of oil and the #4 reserve of sweet crude in the world.. keep a rate of 1166???  Thats like BMW selling cars for a penny.

Actually yeah. many countries are bigger and have more volume as welll as more diversity in natural resoirces.

iraq has to run a country......from those resources. 100billion dollar economy (as of now), can only produce so much from those resources at a time.

U really havent given me any facts to support your claims. What countries??  List them.

And your second statement makes no sense. The resources , import/exports, trade run the economy, not the other way around.

U should really take a min, and do more research on this investment. Honestly, you are very negative about it and like most naysayers, arent providing any facts to back it up. If u are so weary, then sell your dinars. You are talking about Iraq running a country from those resources.. yes.. they did that for 3 decades before they invaded Kuwait. What was the dinar worth during those decades? $3-1 (with a few variences in between). Over %85 of thier debt has been written off and forgiven, and the remaining is set up in plans to be paid.

There have been so many articles about the emerging economy of Iraq, the potential, the vast resources and history of wealth, that all u need to do is look, and read and u might get rid of your negative attitude :)

Take it easy!!

There are international standards and central bank basic fundamentals that exist. thats what we have. now maybe iraq is special and creates an entire new economic system...built of an entire new macroeconomic theory....that will change the college school books....but to assume otherwise...is hard. i hope...but i also try to boil it down. Im sorry if anyone thinks im being purposefully disrespectful.

The situation in Iraq is like no other, but to assume that Iraq will not regain the international exchange rate that they had before, considering all of thier assets and new global partnership is absurd.

In the 27 months i have been studying this investment on a daily basis, I havent found One person to provide any facts to refute what I have been saying. Im not trying to be arrogant, Im just honest, and im also not the only one saying this.

I propose that once Iraq passes thier budget for 2013, passes the HCL and all of ch7 restrictions are removed, that the international exchange rate of the Iraqi Dinar will be put back to where it was prewar. There are many articles and facts that back me up, including an article from Feb 3rd or 4th from the Head of the Bank and Finance Ministry stating the rate will be back to perwar 1980 due to global demand. U are welcome to look it up on ************.com

Now, can u provide a fact laded argument that backs up what You have been saying?

wow. this may surprise you.....but ive studied the auctions and know how they work.

yes the cbi sells dollars........but where o where do these dollars come from? Lets start here

never mind it's just not worth it

i have given a simple opinion based on some negative news. Can you add to the conversation.........or is this about me?

never mind it's just not worth it

the dinar is for use only in iraq. check the cbi law....nothing says its instantly international after ch 7

"My ignorance is amazing". And whos being disrespectful. we are at times bound to disagree. its ok...i promise. you dont have to burn me down...because you disagree. lets move forward with civility please.

To be honest it's you. Since you asked. I just don't understand the need to

come on a site that you don't believe in and arguing with everyone on it. It

gets tiring. You know I believe that Iraq will rv mostly because I know what

the Bible says about it. However, I could really care less whether they do or

not. The mere thought of how many times I've been a mega millionaire over the

yrs was more fun than I have ever had at a casino. As far as my financial life goes

God will take care of me, he always does.

You cannot explain how the auctions bring in trillions. The ministry of finance sells its dollars to the cbi from oil sales.....THE CBI GIVES THE MOF DINARS FOR THESE DOLLARS. THE CONTRACTIONARY POLICY IS OFFSET BY THE MOF USING THOSE DINARS TO FUND THE BUDGET.

then the cbi takes those dollars and sells them at auction to cover accounts on imports and d the countries daily need.

if you want to know how much dinar comes back to the cbi....... its under the cash portion of the auction.

Find that post, you can't because after posting it I knew that is was not rite of

me to say that. So I deleted it.  You asked me if it was you or something else and so I answered.

If you're so intolerant that you can't handle the truth then I don't know what to say

except that you asked for it. Oh and hell no I'm no saint, at least not in the context you

meant it. Furthermore, as I have paid allot of money to support this site, and you have

only come here to argue and haven't supported it one bit, I will go onto any thread I like.

Good day to ya sir.   ;)
