The Kurdish region move their oil through Turkey, the rest of Iraq is in turmoil because no one wants to get along. Now, since Erbil is flourishing the rest of the country is jealous. Making wild accusations such as smuggling oil out of iraq. No, the kurds just decided if Baghdad did not want to share the wealth they make their own. Reigning the PKK ability to launch raids into turkey will continue to build their relationship with Turkey and will eventually win their support to break away from the rest of Iraq. You will see the HCL law pick up speed because it is easier to do business in the Kurdish areas than the rest. You see baghdad wants to run everything. Claim the oil belongs to the people, no in their eyes they are the kings and now they have no one to blame their short comings on. Before it was the american's fault we cannot provide power, not it's someone else fault instead the elected officials. Their are so many companies wanting to do business in Kurdish areas they are piling up at the airport to get in 300 bucks for a residency card. Now the rest of Iraq can see what happens when you want to do business instead remain mirred in BS. Note the bombings around Iraq, ZERO in the Kurdish Region. They don't up that ignorance in this area. They make all kinds of threats but you won't see them come north of Kirkuk unless invited.
