sweet pea
It was nowhere to be found on the president's official schedule, but it happened: A photo posted to the White House Flickr stream just after 5 p.m. onFriday showed Barack Obama kicking back in the Oval Office with former President George H.W.Bush and his son, former governor of Florida, JebBush. The former president, now 87, is seen sitting in a collapsible wheel chair, but according to spokesman Jim McGrathis "in fine health and he's not in any pain," the AP reports. He has just been relying more and more on the help of wheelchairs and a scooter lately. "His legs don't work the way he wants them to," McGrath said. And what was discussed during this moving show of bipartisanship? From Politico: When asked what the men discussed and why it wasn't on the schedule, the White House released a statement saying, “The three men enjoyed a personal visit in the Oval Office –as they have done on previous occasions when President Bush is in Washington.” http://news.yahoo.co...-150000837.html 2
DinarMillionaire
Probably discussing their bank accounts... Excerpt from White Hats Report #35 "There are other agendas also being seriously monitored. President Obama’s bank accounts are constantly watched by the retained Falcone investigators who note two amounts having been recently moved. Jeb Bush appears as a signatory on numerous offshore accounts, both singularly and linked with Bush Sr., for substantial amounts having no IRS history or true source of funds that are able to withstand forensic investigation." carlos in san diego
This is certainly an interesting new development. Especially if the patriarch is involved. From what I've heard Jeb Bush is up to his ankles in doggy poop also. Maybe they are trying to figure out the next move for the bad guys? Although, I suspect Bush senior would not be in attendance unless he andJeb wanted something from Obama. But what? This is not a social visit as the article would like us to believe. Certainly raises some eyebrows. Carlos
SgtFuryUSCZ
***/// Mebbe they're trying to convince him to take the money and get the hell outta our Republic before he does any further irreparable damage. "Hey, Barry, here's some off-shore account gazillions... if you promise to take your triflin' a$$ outta here, we can assure you it'll be enough to start your own little dicktatership, perhaps somewhere in between your great & dear friends The Castros and your little bosom buddy Hugo Chavez."

tampa1000
Pease see links: http://www.politico.com/politico44/2012/01/obama-hosts-george-hw-and-jeb-bush-at-white-house-112638.html USA TODAY: http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/story/2012-01-28/obama-bush-visit/52828644/1 The White House said the three men enjoyed a personal visit in the Oval Office as they have in the past when the former president is visiting Washington. Obama is scheduled to speak Saturday at the Alfalfa Club dinner, an annual event for Washington's movers and shakers. The former president and his son planned to attend the dinner. The 87-year-old former president used a wheelchair during the meeting. Bush spokesman Jim McGrath said Bush is in "fine health and he's not in any pain" but has become increasingly reliant upon using a wheelchair and a scooter. "His legs don't work the way he wants them to," McGrath said. Obama, who succeeded President George W. Bush in the White House, has maintained good relations with the Bush family. He awarded George H.W. Bush the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor for contributions to society. During the ceremony, Obama called Bush a "gentleman" and said the former president's life has been "a testament that public service is a noble calling." Last March, Obama joined with Jeb Bush at a Miami high school to tout his education agenda, sounding themes of empowering teachers, demanding accountability and enticing states to raise their academic standards. The former Florida governor has been a champion of education reform. The Bush family has been courted by Republicans seeking the nomination to challenge Obama. George H.W. Bush told the Houston Chronicle in December that he supported Mitt Romney, telling his hometown newspaper that the former Massachusetts governor exhibited "stability, experience and principles." Neither Jeb Bush nor George W. Bush has endorsed a Republican candidate. ABC NEWS" http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/01/obama-has-oval-office-meeting-with-bush-41-and-jeb-bush/ President Obama met with former president George H. W. Bush and his son, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, at the White House this evening. Their Oval Office meeting was not on the president’s official schedule for today but was made public when the White House released a photo of the meeting on its Flickr site. The former president and his son are in town for the annual Alfalfa Club dinner Saturday night. According to a White House official, “The three men enjoyed a personal visit in the Oval Office, as they have done on previous occasions when President Bush is in Washington.” The meeting came just days before the Republican Florida primary. The popular former governor has yet to endorse a candidate in the tight race in his state. Earlier in the week, Jeb Bush warned the Republicans vying for the White House to tone down their assaults. “I think there’s a point past which Republicans and independent voters get turned off by this fierce primary spilling over into personal attacks,” he told CNN. “I would hope that both Gov. Romney and Speaker Gingrich would stay away from that.”
