  1. Actually that is her son who runs the site and he does a decent job. imo....
  2. What the article is referring to is the fact that previous budgets have been delayed sometimes for nearly a year because of political fighting. One of the biggest concerns for the Iraqi govt. has been the Kurdish pershmarga military who answered only to the Kurdish govt. in the past. It is feared that the loyalty of the pershmarga's still is with the Kurds exclusively, since in the past the Kurdish portion of Iraq wanted to be a sovereign nation. As a result of this desire, the new Iraqi govt. has been rationing the moneys from the budgets that go to the Kurdish regions.
  3. I just wonder what the significance of this contract compared to the contracts that have been signed in the past between oil companies and Iraq without the HCL completed. Just asking.....
  4. Boy! I'm sure glad they got the "midwife issue" on the table, now that's an important one...... Ughhhhhhh
  5. Good deal sonny1 thanks for your input, glad to hear from you again, and I understand why you don't come around much anymore.....
  6. Just got a email from another site stating the interview with Allawai and Saleh did take place.. The google translation Med used this morning gave him the wrong info..... the HCL didnt pass yet, but is supposed to pass "soon" with some "changes"...... Let's hope.... sorry for the spelling on those dudes names...
  7. Maybe it's to late but here goes.... A man and his two sons aged 6 and 10 go into a old style cafe. The waitres comes over to the booth and asks them what they would like to eat. The 10 year old says "I'll have me a god damn cheese burger! The father with a look of surprise reaches across the booth and smacks the kid in the head so hard he flies right out of the booth and lands on the ground. The waitress in shock looks at the 6 year old and asks him what he would like,,,, He answers "well I'm sure as hell not having a god damn cheese burger!"
  8. Thanks for the post Poker, I just wonder why it's not posted over on Med's site.....
  9. Well I hope they have better luck than Pepsi has had, I've owned stock in the company thru the isx for almost 3 years and it isn't even trading anymore...
  10. I too agree with your take on the vouchers dnardreams,,,, the one thing I would bring up is that I believe they were saying the troops that were leaving Iraq were getting vouchers for the dinar they were compelled to turn in prior to leaving. (and I don't know that I believe that's true that they were.....) just sayin.... And thank you for your commitment to our country..
  11. hope this works this time....... :)/Users/patrickonstad/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Modified/2011/Jun 9, 2011/IMG_0595.JPG Yipeee it worked!!!

  13. The Erbil agreement was the "deal maker" allowing Maliki to go ahead and form while giving Allawi equal power as Maliki, heading the National council. This agreement was supposed to be a "done deal" months ago, and because it wasn't done, has resulted in the stalemate that we have seen the last several months including the final forming of a Complete govt. This is Terrific news so long as it actually gets done. Let's keep our fingers crossed.... Give us a complete gov't then a rv.
  14. Hmmm that's funny, I thought a 100 day deadline was imposed on "him Maliki" by Nujafi the President of Parliment? This is just another feeble attempt by Maliki to flip things around to make himself look like the victim and not the thief/thug he is.
  15. Hey Kap! Long time no talk how's the pizza business? Nice to hear from you and like your research as always Hope your doing well buddy! And thanks tim for the post....
  16. Well I believe the reason for the inflated price of gold is to "attempt" to fill in the huge budget shortfalls that the U.S. and other countries are faced with. I believe the people who are behind the dramatic increase in value are the governments themselves attempting to keep the value of there currency afloat. Just thinking out loud here......
  17. the currency site they are talking about is now back to 1170,,,,, oh well.
  18. I got it too... Just a glitch I'm thinking...
  19. Hmmm, I'm thinking they're getting a little nervous about being left to themselves. I say to bad.
