  1. Go back to Adams update from August 3rd. He mentions a slow August, and could be sept.and a maybes in Oct. but wouldn't jump up and down about and I can't blame him. So given that I was seeking if there was any info that might be out there. Please go back and check this update. Dave, AKA:Seabee
  2. I was referring to a wed update by Adam in late August in which he refereed to something positive happening either in Sept or most likely Oct. Adam could not go into particulars, but seem lead that something good may happen, but remained elusive as he should.
  3. Several weeks back we all received info on the possibility of a Dinar RV in Sept. or more likely October. Like most of you I have been scanning Dinarvets on a daily basis and can not get a good read on anything going on other than misinformation put on by Luigi which I find a joke. Adam comes out with good info but I was hoping there was more to pick apart on the site. Any input would be great if anybody has some not only for me, but everyone else. i would like to buy a piece of land before Spring, lol. Go RV....... Dave, AKA:Seabee
  4. Hey Luigi, It seems that every other day you come up with more misinformation. Please don't write me unless your intel is really factual . Have a good day sir. Seabee
  5. That is a pretty clever way to advertise and yet entertain at the same time.
  6. While Hillarious is running off at the mouth about Trumps $900 million loss, The Donald is once again having to defend himself. Most people don't understand this aspect of the tax code which Trump took advantage of and think he cheated on his taxes that allowed him to pay little or no taxes on the subsequent years. No matter how you feel about this, Trump had every right to claim a large loss for the 1998 tax year there by allowing him to legally take a credit loss each year till it zeros out. In this case it took about 18 years to zero out. i know this because I used the same carry over credit on my taxes on a home that I owned while living in Las Vegas about ten years ago. This was about the time of the housing bubble as I got caught up in it. In 2006 I decided that I was going to move back to upstate N.Y. On a July afternoon when the temperature got up to 117 that day. The heat was just to much for me to stay there any longer. By April of 2007 I had a moving truck outside of my new home of 3 years loading up my worldly possessions. I had made arrangements for a management company to handle the renting of my home in northwest Vegas. My mortgage payment on that home was about $1,300.00 a month. Later in 2007 the Vegas economy started to tank. As time went on it became more difficult to keep tenants in my home and harder to find new ones. it wasn't to much longer before I started getting behind on my mortgage payments. I went to consult a CPA for advice and he laid the cards out on the table. Under his advice I decided to walk away from the mortgage and let the bank take the house. When I bought the house it was worth $295,000.00. and after laying out $100,000.00 for the down payment I still owed the bank about $195,000.00. You know the old saying "You can't get blood out of a stone." and this is the way it was for me. 2008 was a rough year and by the end of the year, the bank was demanding all the money I owed. I basically threw my arms up and said I give up. The $100,000.00 down payment and the monthly payments I made to the bank till I couldn't pay anymore came to about $125,000.00 in losses. According to the tax code I was able to claim $25,000 against my income taxes starting in 2009 until the balance reached zero. I legally paid zero income taxes to the federal and state government. Trump did the same thing on his losses for 1998 that I did in 2009. The tax code is so complex that there are possibly many thousands of people that are not aware of the many legal loopholes. Therefore, there are a lot of people that cry foul when they hear about Trump using this legal loophole. There are also many middle income people that can use this tax doge but are unaware of it. Also, it is important to know that this code gives many rich people like Trump the ability to claim the loss while giving them the chance to start over by building up a new business that will hopefully employ people. I consider this whole situation with Trump and his $950 + million loss all moot now. Let's move on to something else now.
  7. I may not be the brightest bulb in the closet, but the Cosmo which includes the Milky Way has been around for 14 billion years. The Earth has been around for roughly 4 billion years. An airport or space ships 7,000 years ago? I must have slept through that in my middle eastern history class. in college.💤💤😴😴 Dave, AKA: Seabee
  8. That was well put. Now that you mention it she looks that North Korien leader, I can't spell his name, but a good post for you. LMAO Dave, :Seabee
  9. This Are a few of the questions they ask me and I will phrase it the same way they ask me. If the Presidential election were held today and you had a choice between Hillarious Clinton or Donald Trump, whom would you vote for? How likely are you to vote for President in the upcoming election? 1. Very likely. 2. Somewhat likely 3. Not at all likely Are You a registered Republican, Democrate, Independent, or other? Those are just a few of the questions asked to me and I get the same questions every time. We have a polling company in nearby Utica N.Y. And they adhere to strict guidelines to get the most accurate results. However, I am sure there are some which are less strict by the way they choose people to participate. As I said I have been contacted four times in the past month. BTW. the local polling company is Zogby International, perhaps you have heard of them. Dave, AKA: Seabee
  10. Donald Trump recently brought up the subject about Hillararious not having the Presidential look. This got me to paying more attention as of late about this. Yesterday Hillarious was in Florida giving a speech and she was wearing this God awful top that looked like a baby crib sheet or more like a rag. Then I caught some other clips from CNN, one of which she had a pant suit on in which the top and bottom had a poor match. Then in another clip she had a top on that was flowing and made her look pregnant, very tacky. Doesn't the women ever wear a nice dress. I wonder who her fashion coordinator is or if she even has one? I sure hope she has one because she needs a lot of help.LOL If she were to become President it would be nice to see her looking like woman wearing a nice dress someday. Dave, AKA: Seabee
  11. I have never been polled so much in the past as I have been this past Sept. I would have to say I have been asked to take a poll every week for the past month. I have had a polling company call and ask who I was going to vote for, for President and for Congress and other election openings. I find something odd about all of this. They always ask for me to do the poll and ask the same questions. I should note that I am a Trump supporter. Anyway, I am seeing that when the polls come out, that Hilariousalways seems to have that same narrow lead or edge over Trump. I think I have a theory for this or I could be wrong. I wonder if these pollsters are calling the same people. I say this because it may be easier to call the same people because they know that these people won't hang up on them. I'm sure that it must take a lot of time between calls to get one person to respond to take the survey's. How many of you have ever hung up on a telemarketer or other person after getting home from work? I know I don't like to be bothered with any calls when I want to relax after a long day. My point is that when a new poll result comes out, isn't it possible that the poll results might be skewed because it is possible these polling companies may be calling many of the same people that they know will take the time to talk? How can you get an accurate result of the public if the same people keep getting asked take the same poll? Could I be on to something, you tell me? Also, I think Trump may have more of a lead than what we are lead to believe. This may be due to the fact that many people don't want to admit they support Trump. They don't want to look like a fool for supporting a crazy man "with all due respect" to their friends. I have many friends that tell me this very thing. So, don't you think it is possible there is more support for Trump than what we are led to believe? I could be way off base with this theory, but would like to hear from others on their thought. Please don't jump on me about this as I try to be very open minded about my thought on many subjects. Dave, AKA: Seabee
  12. My heart felt prayers go out to Cher and her family. She was a class one performer which will surely be missed. The last time I saw her was at a show in Las Vegas several years ago and she did a wonderful job. i started to follow Cher back when I was a kid in the mid 60's when she was with Sonny. I thought they made a unique couple. Dave, AKA:Seabee
  13. You should have had choice for A third vote calling it a draw. I would have to call this debate a draw when you get right down to it. Trump commanded the first half hour, I would have to say. The talk about the economy, trade and taxe sere Trump's strongest points. He was all over her like a boxer playing rope a dope. He had every right to raise his voice at her to his talking points across about this subject. Later, Hillarious had all the charm of a snake oil salesman. This is typical of a Washington politician and with that **** eating grin on her face it radiated the got you factor which really turns me off. So, for all of this I would give the debate a draw, however the spin doctors will probably give the edge to Hillarious. Also, Donald acted just the way I would have expected him to be. I am happy that he didtn't trash Bill like he wanted to, this goes to show his temperament which many people thinks he lacks. In the end my only concern is, is that he should have been better prepared to handle this of Hillarious. The side I saw tonight was not the side of Hillarious that she shows on the campaign trail. Why doesn't the media bring this out? Draw.............. Dave, AKA: Seabee
  14. You are correct when you mention the infrastructure jobs. If I am correct it was Obummer who put this country into deeper debt to create jobs to repair roads, build high speed trains and other projects which never materialized. Also, it was the Democrate that created their welfare programs in the late 60's which the United State to spiral down the slippery slop starting about the mid seventies. This why we have so many problems now with our inner cities . As for what you called an illusion, you apparently didn't live in the same part of the country that I did. We had many factories where many people were employed and for them life was good. As I said the end came in the mid seventies when the factories closed up because social and economic policies. Now to look at my town it looks like a bomb hit the Main St. However from western New York to Eastern New York the big powerhouse companies created a good life for people until their decline in the seventies. I am sure many other folks out there will agree with some degree. Making America great again will take a lot of work and patiences. Will we see the life we had in the fifties and sixties, I don't think so. However if Trump wants to give it a try I say more power to him. We can't get much worse than we are right.
  15. Iraq has been very quiet for some time now. I hope this a good sign of things to come.
  16. I sure hope it is $1:1 it would make me very wealthy. This up and down ride since 2009 has made my stomach turn a few times. I hope this ends very soon for my sake and everyone's else's sake. It seems all the pieces are falling into place. I hope they don't lose the last piece to the puzzle. Dave, AKA: Seabee
  17. How many of you Baby Boomers remember life like this. It was a few years after WWII. Our many soldiers, men and women came home from the battles of war to start life anew. Many of our veterans were looking to buy and build a new home with their wife and start a family. Most men in the 1950's went to work and most ended up working in a manufacturing plants. Most all products were made in this country with only a very few made outside of the U. S. At the time most jobs provided good wages even with the advent of unions. This was the beginning of the Baby Boomers age of which was the most infamous group of people at the time. Most families built their homes in the suburbs in new subdivisions that came equipped with the newest and best appliances of that time. Most streets in the cities and subdivision were lined with majestic Elm trees making for quiet and quaint streets. Most everyone had a car which came from the big three auto makers from Detroit which was booming at this time. This was the time of the new interstate system that criss crossed the country. Going out for a Sunday drive ment just that. After going to church in the morning most families would hop into their car and take to the roads. In most towns you couldn't do much else because of the Sunday Blue Laws. All kids went to school that was nearby their home and there was no Core Program back then. It was taught that 2+2 =4 or 5x2=10 and not taught the rediculous way it is taught now. None of the kids were dumb and learned well. Men went to work and brought home the paycheck while the wife stayed home as the homemaker and took care of the kids. ( I not saying I advocate this so let it rest here). Anyway, with the good income families were able to save money to send their kids to college. They went on to the best schools after high school. Now your lucky if you can save up money to fill up you car with gas. BTW, how many of you can remember when gas cost about .25 cents a gallon? I was born in 1953 and can remember the good life that most all kids lived. You could ride your bike down Main Street in your small city or village and encounter the following. It was a time you could drive your bike and peek into Windows of popular stores like Woolworth, WT Grants 5 and dime store also Montgomery Wards along with camera shops, TV and appliance stores. You could even go into your local hometown bank where you can put your small allowance into your savings account should you have one. On Saturday you could go to maybe one of of the movie theatres and watch a western, or creature movies all without no ratings like they have now. After the movie you could go to the downtown malt or ice cream shop for an ice cream soda. You then may go home and watch your black and white TV and watch such stuff like Bonanza. The Rifleman and the few police programs at the time. There was no cable yet so there was very few choices of what to watch. If you wanted to make a phone call you might have had to wait a while as the party line was big at the time. No cell phones, I Pads, and even Internet. Life was much simpler and quiet and bullying was not much of a thing to worry about. I can remember more practical joking with the other kids. Riding in the back of a pickup truck was not against the law and when you needed gas you can go to one of the many small gas stations and fill up you car or truck for about $2.00 and it would last all week and even go inside and get a candy bar for .15cents and a bottle of Pepsi for a dime. On Saturday night you could fill up your car and go to the drive in and have a good time. This was also the time that modern rock and roll music came to be. Then Saturday afternoon had the staple of American Bandstand. Other tv shows of the simple type made their way to. TV like Green Acres, I dream of Jeanie, Giligans Island and the tame Bat Man.i guess you could compare life to a program like Leave It To Beaver. This life pretty much came to an end in the mid 70's. After this, the cost of living was on the rise, and the wife had to go to work to help bring in more money. Manufacturing was on the decline and most companies took their plants overseas. The Main Streets were on the decline and many stores started to close up and buildingswere not kept up. This was also the time that the stores went to the burbs to the newest shopping malls. Now most Main Streets are home to section 8 people. I would have to blame this on the policies of the Democrats and the changes they brought about in the late sixties. In the Eighties the great America was nothing but a thing of the past. The fifties and sixties and early seventies was a great time to live in America. You could live a quiet simple life and possession were not that important to me. Hell, I can remember on Christmas Day you could wish someone a Merry Christmas and not get bitched at. Also, on Christmas you might get two or three things and not complain unlike the kids these days that get a whole load of junk and don't appreciate what they get. I could go on and on but, I think most of you get the idea of where I am going and remember the great days. I wonder if this is what Donld Trump is referring to Make America Great Again? What do you all think, it might be possible this is what he might be referring to. Dave, AKA: Seabee
  18. The other day I was in my new car at 8:30 in the morning heading to a seminar 20 miles from home, so I had quite a bit of time for the radio. I was listening to Fox radio on Sirious XM when I heard the stupidest thing out of a callers mouth. He was telling the announcer about doing away with the Second Amendment and how Remington Arms Company was dealing with a class action lawsuit. He went on to say that they also make the AK 47 and should stop making it as they make to many of them and they are in the wrong hands. I about puked up my breakfast as I was shocked by his statement. I say this as those of you that don't know me, don't know that I use to work for Remington Arms Company for twenty years. The last place I worked for Remington was in the gallery for my last three years. Well anyway, I don't know anything about a class action law suit, but I can tell everyone that Remington does not make not one Ak 47, never ever made one. The company makes sporting firearms from shotguns to rifles none of which are made to be fully automatic. If they were made fully automatic it would have to be done by the consumer. They also make sniper weapons for the military and the police. i am so sure about this, as I said that I worked in the gallery where i proofed the guns after they were built by the builders in the other building. I would receive a rack of guns with about 25 to 35 on the rack. There were shotguns, 870's, 1100's, 1187's that were 10 gauge 12 gauge, 16 and 20 gauge to name a few. Also as for the rifle they made several different calipers. As for the guns that came to me waiting to be proofed, not one gun in all the time I worked in the gallery got off the rack and shot anyone. It is funny how some people say it is the guns that kill people when we all know it is the person who picks up a gun and shoots people. I should know because I use to shoot about 200 to 400 a day in the firing jack and not one gun got up to fly around to shoot others. Anyway, back to this this idiot who called to Fox, he didn't know what the hell was talking about, I know that for sure. As for the MC he claimed was a man of knowledge, but didn't argue the point the caller, which proved was as ignorant as the caller. It is people like the two of them that are no nothing's who would be be happy to have the Second Amendment tossed out of our Constitution. We all need to be vigilant of pinheads like this or before you know it more of our well intended Amendments will be struck down. Dave, AKA:Seabee
  19. My God, both Obummer and Hillarious make want to puke. Obummer talks in circles and hasn't accomplished any major reform or done anything great in the last four years. With Obummer and Hillararious, neither said a bad word about each other and you might as well say they were holding hands and hands like an engaged couple. With Hilarious, it is my express opinion you will get more of the same over the next four or eight years of her carrying on Obummers objectives. As for Hillararious, the way she shakes her finger scares me. I can't imagine that finger shaking in front of Bill's face when Bill got caught with Monica. You've heard of spousal abuse toward women, I can't imagine spousal abuse towards Bill back then. I was a victim of spousal abuse from my x wife and she waved her finger the same way. Also I don't trust Hillararious, she is a liar and doesn't follow the rules she was sworn to uphold. I know how that is as I got caught in a lie when I was in the Navy years ago and went to Captains Mass for it I lost rank and had to forfeit a months pay. I am not beating around the bush and this is the way I feel. Go Trump. Dave,AKA: Seabee
  20. Adam, how ya doing bro. As we move into October, should our confidence level be on the rise. I don't know if I should hold my breath. Thank you sir.
  21. Why are the Saudi's, Russian, Iraq and others now interested in talking quotas? IMO, I think the time is right for OPEC talks and they just might hold. As oil crashed in price two years ago, The countries that depended on the oil revenue to run their budgets encountered crushing deficits which brought their economies to their knees. In the two or three years since the crash these countries have to take on cost cutting measures with regards slimming down government, laying off employees, cutting back on big projects, and handing out money for certain government program. Some of these countries have even resorted to instituting taxes. instead of depending on $70.00 Pb of oil, these same countries have adjusted their budgets so they can survive on less, say about fourty dollars a barrel. Now what will happen is when oil starts to creep upwards in price again, they will start running surpluses while maintaining the the new agreed upon production level. This will all be a plus for the OPEC countries, and hopefully us DV investors. We see this happening in Iraq where they have adopted their next budget based on $35.00 pb. I have read this about some other OPEC countries are doing and again I think it may work this time. Dave, AKA: Seabee
  22. I appreciate the comments guys, however, I forgot one very important issue. While the government says inflation is low I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that prices especially in the supermarkets keep going up unchecked. While I do make decent money from a Remington pension, Social Security and VA Disability, I haven't had an increase in two years. While I can get by, I worry more about those people that have only SSI. O Bummer has screwed more than just me. Many seniors living on fixed income depend on gap insurance that pays after Medicare. With the average monthly SSI check at $1300.00 and stuck there for the last two years it is more than difficult for seniors to get by. we seniors should be screaming at our elected officials and you are both correct and we need to vote these pin heads out. Anyway, how many people actually complain? It goes generally like this. For every ten people that don't complain there is only one person that does. In broader terms you have 10 people out of 100 who may complain to their representatives. So then they think that O Bummer Care is just fine. To all of you Seniors and other people please start calling your Congressman and call him names if you have to. Nothing will change till everyone calls or write and voice their disapproval over this mess. I'm sure their are many people with large families on DV that get sticker shock whenever they stroll the supermarket and find that box of cereal that cost $4.00 today and last week it was $3.75. As O Bummer Care goes, so goes everything else. OWho is benefiting from these whopping price increases you might ask. It starts with manufacturers or the insurance companies themselves. The guys at the end or the middleman no longer have the edge on big money like they did years ago. I know I am getting off subject but want to add this. Take a look at a Porterhouse Steak, it may cost $12.99 a pound which is enough to make me run the other way. At the bottom end where the beef comes from the farmer, he may only get Two dollars a proud for that beeffer. In my eyes a pound of steak should cost half of what it is. Well, I just rambling now, so let's move on. O Bummer Care needs a serious overhaul and it is going to take all of us to complain for change. As for Hillarious Dillary it will just be more of the same. Where O Bummer has gone in the last eight years so will Hillarious Dillary. I am going to take my chances and vote for Trump. He claims he want to change O Bamma, and I say go for it. Looking at it another way, things can't get any worse than they are now, although under Hillarious Dillary it could still get worse. Hillarious is just an extension tool for O Bomma regardless of what she wants to believe. This is your chance to vote Trump. Regardless of what the Dems say, I firmly believe that he will put the best and smartest people in his inner circle and effect change to the insurance program In closing the one change I would like to see is for SSI to increase every year instead of remaining stagnant. They may give all of us SSI recipients timeto play catch up. God Bless. Dave, AKA:Seabee
  23. Well, it's that time of year again, when we all get our letter from our insurance company. Yes, our medical ins. and prescription drug companies are happy to inform us of the upcoming increase of our premiums in the next few months. Obama care is ready to kick our asses where we keep our wallets. First of all, I should say that I receive VA care in which I could get all my medical care from the VA. However, because of all the ineptness in the VA system I carry extra insurance such as Medicare, Bluecross Blueshield for my medical and SilverScript for my prescription drug plan. Here's the skinny for myself. Medicare premiums did not rise this past year but something tells me that it will. Right now it is $104.00 per month. As for Bluecross Blueshield, I am currently enrolled in plan F, which I am told is their top plan. Monthly, my premium is 231.00 and that just for me. January it is scheduled to rise by eleven dollars or roughly 5%. I am guessing this is 100% over the estimated current inflation rate. Here the one that really gets me, my prescription drug plan by SilverSript. Currently my cost per month is $22.90 increasing to $30.80. This results into a 34.65% increase. WOW what the F??? When I first enrolled last year I had to roll the dice and because of my VA involvement I chose tier 5 in which I pay 33% or a 600% increase over inflation. Here's the killer. I used the drug plan last January for one script cost $40.00. I paid something like $12.00 and ins. paid $28.00. The next I used it was the past month for one pill costing $12.00 and I paid $4.50, ins. paid $7.50. my total yearly premium comes to $274.80. So if my ins paid $35.50 I have lost $239.30. Pretty poor return on my investment. Thanks president Obumar. in my eyes Obama Care needs some serious overhaul and it sucks. I am sure I am not the only one getting screwed this year. what do the rest of you have to say about this? I am sick of thinking about this so I will end this for now. Good luck to all of you and let's hope that an RV happens soon to help us out. Dave F, AKA Seabee
