There are some who prescribe to the theory that anything bigger than a champagne glass is a waste.... There are some who prescribe to the theory that anything more than a mouth full is a waste. Silly boys. Refill the glass or move around.

hr 1 SETTING UP A DICTATORSHIP
nstoolman1 replied to MyLadiesDaddy's topic in Politics, 2nd Amendment (Gun Control)
I don't or won't presume what Trump would say. I did not feel it was necessary to infer that there are good kids in public schools. I think that is a given. Just like there are the rotten apples in private and home schools. -
hr 1 SETTING UP A DICTATORSHIP

I guess if you call teen pregnancy, drugs, bullying, drugs and skipping school better social skills I guess you would be right. I worked in a public school system for 20 years. ( not a teacher) I saw things I did not want my children going through. As a parent we are to protect them until they are old enough to make decisions on their own, not send them into a cesspool and then cry because they turned out crappy. We home schooled our kids in an umbrella school that had plenty of good clean social functions. If we could not go ourselves we both knew the kids would be safe and taken care of. I always told both of my girls I don't care if they are the smartest kids in school I just want them to be polite, God fearing women when they grow up. We got more than we bargained for. They are smart, not on drugs, no out of wedlock pregnancies, polite and courteous young women. Before you say we are the exception I know many other HS kids that fit that description. The exception to your scenario are the HS parents who cheat and skate through because they are lazy and don't care about their kids education but don't want to take the time to be sure they go to school. -
Your statement would be true had I said: the people who are scared of government.... I said of the government. Those people in government are scared of law abiding citizens. Yes, the Dems just passed another gun law. Yes, the scared people in the government. If and a big if, it passed in the senate I don't believe POTUS will sign it. We have enough gun laws on the books and it still isn't doing anything to stop the criminals except make more criminals. I live in a gun state and I have yet to see more than 3 people (on separate occasions) open carry much less prancing in the street with long guns.

There you go CL21 It looks good and sounds good on the surface. She has some things on her platform I can't get around that are important to me. -
I am trying to figure out if the glass in the middle is half full or half empty. Because the one on the left is empty and the one on the right is full. .

I wonder what the parents of Brian Terry are thinking of Eric Holder and Barack Obama when they sanctioned "Fast and Furious". I wonder what the parents of the dead men sent to protect an ambassador think of Sec H. Clinton when she and the President abandoned them that night?

Someone should ask if "medicare for all" includes birthed children who are going to get sent into the garbage chute because of a selfish woman.

Well I just had dinner and I watched it. It did not even give me gas and I had enchiladas for dinner. -
And what do call a nation that has the facts and reacts to those fears that the facts represent??? If they do nothing you call it by whatever the new conquering nation wants to. If they do something then you get to keep your nation's name and continue being.

Cohen To Spill The Beans
nstoolman1 replied to Shabibilicious's topic in Politics, 2nd Amendment (Gun Control)
It started before the election and carried on into his term. The FISA was illegal used to spy on a US citizen and an attempt to influence an election. The vary same crime POTUS is being accused of, The accusers claiming abuse of the system are in fact abusers of the system. You go ahead and ignore it because you hate the man. That fact does not negate the other illegal activities you wish to ignore. -
I just did. It is not as bad as you think it might be.

Cohen To Spill The Beans
nstoolman1 replied to Shabibilicious's topic in Politics, 2nd Amendment (Gun Control)
This coup was in place before he was even elected.. He was found guilty before a trial and an attempt to remove him through bad, ugly press and high placed DOJ official conspiring to get him out of office with an illegal FISA and a paid opposition, false dossier. A conspiracy to commit a coup. Treason in my book. Whether he committed some of the other crimes is another matter. You refuse to address this issue. Plenty of high ranking Dems and DOJ officials have stated it was made up. Comey lied to a FISA court to get illegal surveillance on a presidential candidate and to get him thrown out. Treason again. -
Not today's women.

Cohen To Spill The Beans
nstoolman1 replied to Shabibilicious's topic in Politics, 2nd Amendment (Gun Control)
No. It is not. It is anger at an attempted coup, an admitted attempted coup and no one in a position to do anything about it is reacting. People in the past have been executed for doing this in secret and we now have people admitting it in public and they are going on book tours. -

You are confusing desperation for anger. -
That is fake news. No woman would vacuum in high heels.

I like your thinking. -
There you go Umb. It is a term to describe putting something away. I think Caz is refering to #3 if I am not mistaken. pigeonhole noun pi·geon·hole | \ ˈpi-jən-ˌhōl \ Definition of pigeonhole (Entry 1 of 2) 1: a hole or small recess for pigeons to nest 2: a small open compartment (as in a desk or cabinet) for keeping letters or documents 3: a neat category which usually fails to reflect actual complexities

Only scared people of the government are tracking law abiding citizens. Anyone who is in the military that has taken the oath and who will abide by it and honor it WILL NOT ATTACK Americans that are not following a willful order to go against the Constitution. Anyone of those men or women that do follow an illegal order will be met at the door of some of these patriotic individuals with gunfire. They are willing to die for their rights that are God given and protected by the Bill of Rights. I wonder how many men and women of our armed forces and LE are willing to die for an illegal order given? All of the men and women I have spoken to will honor the oath taken.
