  1. Tripp and others...I have a friend who has a friend........anyway, long story condensed...it was told to me that it is a "Reserve related issue". Ordinarily, I'd not repeat that but it was told to me by someone who is seldom incorrect. It did not seem to be a 'currency issue'.
  2. ....or is our fearless leader busily uncovering some good info for us?
  3. RIGHT ON, jg1......Unfortunately, in my humble opinion, it will never happen. Can you, realistically, see ANY members of congress giving up so much of their power?
  4. Good afternoon Adam. Even on a "slow chat day" one can learn so much from you. I, especially, appreciate how 'balanced' you remain. To me that singular point is enlightening and comforting. Again the 3 most used words on DV....Thank you Adam......
  5. Hi to Adam's Team. Badge me please! "Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges".....sorry, I couldn't resist....does that de-badge me?
  6. Good morning Brilliant NON guru. You've taught us to prepare...safely prepare. With that in mind; my question deals with those of us with Corporate Certificates. Why one of your attorneys instead of a Coopers or KPMG? SAFELY Prepare!! We've all heard stories of attorneys, accountants and such absconding with their client's entire fortunes. Honestly that is an issue I am concerned about. You've done your diligent research and gotten agreements with attorneys you're going to put us in touch with. I've NO problem with that or you (certainly not you) but these people are going to be transporting mega bucks worth of dinar.....temptation...... Wouldn't a Coopers or KPMG type of global firm have resources, expertise, experience & insurance to preclude any potential theft? Don't want to go through all these past years, finally have substantial resources all for naught. Thanks again for helping me to broaden my, previously, narrow mindset on so many things.
  7. Alex38 don't want to (and will not get into) a p---ing contest but I am curious. If that is your mind set WHY are you here? People here may seem (to you) foolish and dreamers, but so were the Wright brothers, Bell, Edison, Gates and Jobs. Why bring your vitriol into are area where people are (mostly) positive & hopeful. How dare you stomp on that? You may want to look at Yota's great tagline...Attitudes are contagious, is yours worth catching.
  8. Good morning. I have an off-the-wall question. Could the (supposed) impending return of Dr. Shabbi to the CBI have any effect on the timing of an announcement? Now, the 6 most repeated words on DV...Thank you for all you've done!
  9. Sometimes...ok, usually... I get funky ideas. This one, however, may have some legs........Do you think it is feasible that the CBI is waiting for all charges against Dr. Shabbi have been dismissed, all that mess cleared up & he is re-established in the CBI to make any announcement?
  10. What happened? Did it pass? Are they....and us...finally on our way?
  11. I'll wager that Okie landed his '747' and has already taken credit for 'breaking the news'
  12. I apologize for not knowing anything about "Shafaq News". NOT trying to spread rumors...saw this and thought it...timely. Saturday, 03 January 2015 12:43 Abdul-Mahdi announces linking Kirkuk-Kurdistan oil pipeline and start pumping 175 000 bpd. Shafaq News / The Iraqi Minister of Oil, Adel Abdul-Mahdi announced on Saturday, start pumping oil from Kirkuk fields through Turkey, under the agreement signed between the federal government and Kurdistan Regional Government. "The Total primary energy of pumping operations reaches 175 thousand barrels per day (bpd), after the completion of the technical matters in connecting pipes, Abdul-Mahdi said in a statement to" al-Arabi Qatari news "seen by" Shafaq News " . Abdul-Mahdi said that his country will double oil production rates of up to more than 4 million bpd, pointing out that this increase will enhance the export site, which predicted to be more than 3 million bpd. The central government in Iraq has folded, two of the most prominent differences with Kurdistan Region; the oil and budget. The government reached on the second of last December to a formal agreement with the regional authorities, to end the dispute on oil exports, and convert part of the budget to the county, and the contribution of Baghdad in bearing a part of the cost of the war waged by Peshmarga forces against ISIS terrorist organization. The agreement, which became final after the approval of the Iraqi Council of Ministers stipulates the export of Kurdistan government to 300 thousand barrels of oil per day to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, to be delivered then to the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO), as Baghdad Under the agreement should pay 500 million dollars allocated for the salaries of employees in the region. Previously, the Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, who took office in August 2014, pledged to work to resolve the problems with the region, which include the dispute over the oil-rich city of Kirkuk.
  13. ocdude..... You missed my point. ALL presidents have used the EO for....nefarious actions....EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. My point was and is..NO other president has used the EO to circumvent the legislative branch of government as many times as BO has. Throughout our history we've had some remarkable presidents...we've yet to have a perfect one. You're sharp, oc. It would be fun to sit with you with some beer...no, lots of beer...and pretzels and debate. We'd more than likely not sway each other; but it would be fun. ocdude.... Incidentally my posts directed to you have, every one, been civil. How do you begin your to me? "Wow....you really are not a student of history, are you??? " You need not do that to make your points. As it happens I do know my history and am familiar will all you mentioned. It was you, sir, that misunderstood my post and what I specifically said. Come on now, you're too intelligent to have to stoop to any semblance of bashing.
  14. ocdude.....your are perfectly correct in the NUMBER of EOs signed by the various presidents. Turn the page........ If you will delve further you'll find NO other president's EOs have altered or changed laws or the intent of the constitution. EOs normally dealt with things like "today will be be nice to a fat person day" or "today will honor a great american ________" NO other president has used the EO to circumvent the legislative branch of government as many times as BO has. This is what I meant earlier by COMPLETE FACTS....pure numbers don't always tell the complete facts. "........and now, you know the rest of the story. Paul Harvey.....................................good day" Oh come on now! Some of you out there remember Paul Harvey...don't you?
  15. Civility kids, civility. I could be wrong, in 70 years that has happened more than I care to admit, but (based on reading several years of Adam's writings I think there is an element among us doing him a huge dis-service. We all know Adam only acts & writes after deliberation and research. I cannot fathom one of his intentions upon editorializing that there'd be such venom being spewed out on his forum. I've never read one un-civil comment from Adam. Maybe we should all take a breath and emulate our leader's tone. Being a conservative I love debate. But lets keep the debate on par with this First Class website. Stick with Facts...not things you believe are facts but FACTS...COMPLETE FACTS........there are plenty of them; there is no need to make up new ones. Ok, there are my 2 cents...except...remember since 1900 it has always been Bush's fault, the Designated Hitter has not ruined baseball, The Jacksonville Jaguars is not the worst team in the NFL and lastly, I'm 6'2" tall 200 pounds and a dead ringer for George Clooney (I may have fudged some on that last one there)
  16. Did I miss it or did Adam not do a QA after all?
  17. First of all Adam respected us enough to tell us up front what he was going to say WAS HIS opinion. He didn't mask ir or hide opinion in a paragraph of "info" Secondly this IS after all HIS website. He can damn well do as he pleases. Again he's always respected us by giving us valid, verifiable information and options to make our futures better. If he makes some coin good for him...that is what entrepreneurs do. Lastly, this has been a long haul for us all. There have been ups and downs. This latest post, for you, is a 'down'. Deal with it.
  18. FINALLY!!!!! Not that it may matter to you a whole lot but, your integrity just rose waaaayyyyy up there in my estimation. I always felt there was 'something else' to this Adam Montana guy....he's exceedingly sharp but is simply being an 'information broker'. Why? He'd be such a gifted Leader. Personally, I think you took the mantle of leadership with this....catharsis. NOW we can all be on the same page, move forward & make lives better for our families & pay it forward too. Thank you & well done.
  19. In looking at all the responses on this topic...including my own from earlier....I find I'm flustered. Adam has taught us...has led us to be better than this and all this speculation. Presently that is all it is; speculation. Has it been corroborated by ANY other, reputable, media? I don't know about any of you but I've found myself truly obsessing about Iraq and the RV....OBSESSING. Yesterday was our 49 wedding anniversary and where did I suddenly realize where I was....uh huh in front of this damn computer speculating on thing over which I have not one iota of control. I'm ashamed of that. I'd not have logged on today if I hadn't seen Adam's email, which after reading I speculated upon. As the day wore on I felt ill at ease about that; hence this epistle. Do what you will. As for me I'll check on what Adam recommends, set the wheels in motion for our second passport and relax. Adam knows FAR more about all of this that all of us combined. He has the contacts & resources. I'm VIP Platinum, have my OSI...I've INVESTED in Adam. And like any other of my investments, I'm gonna sit back and watch what the leadership of my companies does. I don't, for example, obsess about Apple or Coke WHY then should I obsess about this? I trust & respect Adam....I'll let him obsess
  20. It would seem that Maliki still has some corrupt officials in his wallet. In "Dinar World" there have been...are so many strange scenarios. In My Humble Opinion (IMHO) this is just one more....tie up Shabibi so he can't be appointed new CBI head. So many games played by so many people and just one puppet master.
  21. The BBC has announced Maliki was beaten in a vote 130-40 http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-28736604
  22. BBC reported he is out http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-28736604
  23. Link removed to prevent unfounded rumors from being spread. When I see it on a major news source I'll start stretching the upper body to pay my debt. Until then, let's stick to the facts. Sorry Adam...I thought I was quoting a credible news source (IraqNews.com)....but then again, who/what over there is credible?
