I agree, after some of the truth has come to light...now they're on damage control........

I learned this while I was in Iraq...you can't trust the mainstream media. What they'll report is not necessarily the truth, and alot of times they'll twist their report to meet whatever agenda they're after. Ask any soldier who was in Iraq if he trusts CNN. What NBC done is a classic example. Now NBC is saying they "fired" the so far unnamed producer because he doctored the 911 audio....I'm almost positive he had higher orders to do just that. It is not often you can trust the news in reporting something that is totally fair and unbiased. The part that scares me the most is that the average American will take that same news to heart and believe it 100%...even though the facts point opposite.

Another time in an ambulance, I was on a long distance transfer with a stretcher bound lady and her sister from Houston, Texas to her home in Southwest Louisiana. I had to also pass gas, but I held it in. Now we were like 10 minutes from her house, and I couldn't hold it in anymore, as I was starting to have stomach cramps. If you've ever been on Interstate 10 in Southwest Louisiana, between Lake Charles and Sulphur, you'll notice many different kinds of plants, including oil refineries. It was then I decided to let it slowly out. I played stupid and told the patient and her sister (who also was riding in the back with me) that the plants really stunk that night. I turned around and the patient had then put her head under the covers and her sister was just staring at me holding her nose. Her sister then asked me if I had crapped on myself? Again I played stupid. We dropped the patient off at her house and I told them good night. The patient then told her sister as we were walking out of the house that I had better check my pants because "that was too rank to be just a fart". My partner asked me what was going on and I told him I didn't know.

It could very well be...........wouldn't that be awesome if it would RV above $5? I still can't see that happening on a Friday, since Friday is equivalent to our Sunday in the Middle East. Their 5 day work week is from Saturday to Wednesday. I'm not gonna hold my breath on a $5 RV, but it would be very nice. GO RV !!!

I was working on an ambulance and at that time (around 1989) I was a basic EMT. We were the only ambulance available at the time and we got dispatched to go to a local nursing home with a diabetic emergency. Everything went smooth until we got the lady in the back of the ambulance, then she went wild. This 80 something year old lady really beat the crap out of me, all I could do is lay on her to keep her on the stretcher until we got to the hospital. She had already gotten loose of the stretcher straps. We we arrived at the emergency room we had to call extra personnel out to keep her on the stretcher so we could wheel her into the ER. We had to pry her fingers open just so I can get back the pocket flap to my uniform shirt. When the call was finally over, I had a busted lip, too many scratches on my face,neck chest and arms to count, a black eye, and a totally ruined uniform shirt. Good thing my supervisor came and filled out an incident report. He would have never believed what happened. When the hospital personnel finally got her blood sugar back to normal, she was the sweetest little old lady, and didn't remember a thing. She looked at me and asked what happened to me....LOL.

My thoughts exactly. I don't know any banks, at least in my area, that will be open on Good Friday or some other time during the Easter weekend. Happy Easter everyone !!!

Most jails have a strip search policy when an inmate is processed in. This is to minimize the risk of weapons or contraband being brought in to the jail. Although it is demeaning, it is a necessity for the safety of the prison guards and other inmates. You'd be suprised what people are willing to put on and inside their body when they know they're going to jail. Although I'm sure that this person was wronged, in my opinion it is not the cops fault, but the District Attorney's office. They should have been on top of their paperwork. Had they did their paperwork properly, then he would have most probably never been arrested but just recieved a citation for no seat belt. So to me, don't dog out the cops, they were just doing their job. Instead of focusing on the police, the real problem there is with the District Attorney's office.

I can't see the big wigs in Iraq working on a Friday, no more than I can see bankers working in the US on a Sunday. But then again, I hope I'm wrong....GO RV !!!

I agree with you Machine.....How many times in the past have the gurus said it was happening Thursday? I would say just about every week for almost a year now. I'm so looking for this ride to come to an end, hopefully with a nice RV !!! GO RV !!!

I would love to see an RV of $3 to 1 IQD........$5 would be a dream, and that would be lovely. I'm thinking that the RV is just around the corner myself, but I can only hope and pray that it's a high amount. I would gladly give Uncle Sam his share.....well, I guess I don't have a choice in that matter. LOL GO RV !!!

I really wish I could be a better husband and person. I know this sounds cheesy. I'm not worried about my looks....God made me this ugly for a reason. LOL I guess I could sure use a bigger heart, that would never hurt anyone.

I agree Nadita, this site has the best intel, the least pumping and some of the nicest people. Adam has been nothing but honest with us and I absolutely have no problem with him or this site. I'm so glad to be a VIP member, wish I could be a platinum member but my finances keep me from doing that so far. GO RV !!!

I'd have to agree with you on that.....I was there for 3 years, never really seen any progress while I was there. I am just hopeful for a quick RV.

The only thing about neti pots is that you don't want the water to stay in them after you use them. When you're finished, rinse them out and let them dry upside down. If you have any questions, just let me know. Hope you feel better soon.

That guy is lucky. I'm not a felon, and if I have to shoot someone, then I'm going for the gusto, shoot to kill. If they behave while I'm aiming my gun, then they'll live until the cops take him under arrest. I'm not a crazy person wanting to kill someone,but I do feel I have a constitutional right to bear arms and protect my family and property. GO RV !!!

I find it amazing about the word "expert". Who or what decides who is an expert or not? I feel most of the time these "experts" are basically self-titled individuals. What do you think?

I do know a now retired Houston Police officer that was on Protective Services Detail...or whatever they call it. They would assist the Secret Service when they'd come to the Houston area. He told me himself that the Bush's were awesome people, he met both presidents and wives. He also met the Clintons. He said Bill was very nice, but Mrs. Clinton wasn't at all. He said he would have taken a bullet for either of the Bush Presidents, and also for Bill. He said as for Mrs. Clinton, she'd be on her own. Don't know if you could say that it is a political party thing. This guy is the real deal and he had no reason to lie to me about it. GO RV !!!
