Iraq like too many Middle Eastern countries is ruled by the rich - They may say that they are willing to help the poor: Much like our political leaders - but that is just pandering to the media & the world while they are on record. Why do you think politicians propose a bill that helps the poor, but is 10 thousand pages long? Too long to read, too long to examine and 99% of that bill helps the rich get richer!

How many poor folks invest in bonds? Yup, you guessed it - very few!

I wonder why they were taking the cash to Canada? Sounds like a thief to me! I am guessing some unsuspecting group of investors trusted someone with the cash & thinks it is in safekeeping when in fact they tried to steal it. Shady business happening here!

Got mine working as a contractor in Iraq in 2004. I knew it was a long term investment, so I stuck mine in a shoe box and try not to think about it too much. If it hits, I am a genius! If it never hits - I am a dummy! (Nothing new there!) LOL

At a time when the USA was supposed to have increased our own oil production, and cut the dependence on foreign oil - I found it amazing that the USA oil companies exported our oil, and continued to import foreign oil as usual. Was that not the purpose of expounding our own efforts, opening up new resources & changing laws? Another BS lie to fool the American people! Bottom line: It's all about the profits/money! Now OPEC has flooded the market - which continues to drive small oil companies out-of-business & cause mayhem in Iran & Russia! At some point OPEC will have to cut their production to balance out the prices again? With sanctions being taken off of Iran now, this may prove difficult! Games on top of games, on top of games!

I think it is so disgusting that a country of 50 million + can not field a force of men & woman to defend their own people from rape, murder & pillage. The US and other countries are willing to train, equip and arm them for the fight! They have no problem finding men & woman to strap on a suicide bomb & set it off, but not pick up a gun and defend their families! I wonder do these type of people deserve our help?

STOP wasting tax dollars on useless, stupid people! The State Department puts out travel warnings on countries it is NOT SAFE to travel too! If you go to Iraq, Syria, Iran, Jordon, North Korea, Russia, Israel etc......you go at your own risk! No prisoner swap, no ransom, no rescue attempt, no deals!

If the sheep in Iraq will not fight for their lives & country then they deserve whatever happens!
