In 1978 I was doing electrical work in Houston and minimum wage was $2.30. Worked 60+ hrs a week. But, but, but....how can they get Cell Phones, I-Pads, Flat Screen TV's, Internet Service, New Rims for the overpriced Car, the Best Clothing, New Sneakers, and go drinking every weekend on just 7.25 an hour? Oh, thats right...you dont, you live within your friggin means....You sacrifice, work your friggin butt off to get educated in your field to qualify for a better Job & Salary. Cris, your right, I bet everyone that is complaining has a cell phone. We didnt grow up with a cell phone, we didnt have to have bottled water, Starbucks coffee etc....

Minimum wage was just raised in 2009. First they complain they dont have a job, now they dont make enough. Union members can always give up some of there money. Figured this is being pushed by the Dems. Maybe they should give the people on minimum wage a raise, then business's that are barely making can let another 10-15% employees go.

Like everyone has said, there is no magic number. I have thought about that question many times. Invest what you are comfortable loosing. We all know this is a long shot investment, if it hits, then we can all say, "Geez I wish I would have bought more" if it doesnt hit, then we would say "wow sure glad I didnt buy more" Buy what your comfortable with and live with it. That is what I am going to do.

Many members of our DV family have come and gone, unlike possum, they actually gave info that was useful. To be honest, I dont miss possum and his BS. But I do miss many others.

20mil, I am glad for you in what ever ventures are are into. Being a small bussiness owner, the last three years have been a beating. I really dont know how this will turn out. I have lost alot of faith in it, but still hope to make something out of it. I have invested for all of my employees hoping that it will make them some money, which they dont know about, I am not selling any of my dinar, money is already spent. I might as well ride the ride, the ticket is bought.

As I love this article and SURE hope it is correct, but we have to look how Barry got in the first time. The media got Barry in the first time, they will have to continue to support him or they will have mud on there face. Also, Barry has all the money in the world behind him. As far as I know, he still hasnt listed where he got all his campaign money. Money can buy you anything in the country, even if you are an illegal.
