  1. I just heard the same thing on CallSquad, in fact when I heard last week on thecall squad that the HCL law had been complete I did research. I couldn't find confirmation that the HCL was complete. I found several articles stating by Kurdistan that the oil contracts that were to be signed will be illegal. I am equally confused, but I will stick by my research and this article, the HCL is not complete. I just sent this to "another site" for confirmation.
  2. Oh no! Sorry quiet learner, but glad you are back!
  3. I do believe much joining VIP would be a nice place to start regarding post RV. I have read a ton of great information. Even if you do not want to use all of the advise and services that Adam Montana offers I think the VIP forum will answer a lot of post RV questions and offers guidance. Every person has a different situation and although I may not follow everything suggested to the letter, I feel a bit more prepared in what I have to do. The cost is equal to my sirius satellite service for a month, I would give that up in a minute to learn how to safely handle post RV and cash in. I have began the process of searching for the right professionals to work with. I am not a fool to even approach a wealth management firm without a confirmation this has RV'd, but I have done some due diligence and really read through the information VIP offers. There is a lot available and it takes time to absorb this plethora of information. Anyway, thanks for the nice discussion folks. PEACE and LOVE
  4. Yes possibly you are correct some things will not change, however I learned a great deal from my family. Just like many of you, we came to the USA from somewhere else. All of my grandparents came to this country via Ellis Island. They struggled and were poor, however they worked hard and had class. We are not wealthy, but we learned to act like we are. And this does not mean we drive the best cars or live in the best neighborhoods. Its not about STUFF. With this being said I hope to influence a few folks on this forum to identify with this thought, because there are many of us invested that are not looking to be made a mockery. Be a class act.
  5. I believe Hillarious was speaking about Corporate Investments, not average folks buying a few million dinar. I do hope after the RV that many of you consider the implications of investing in the IRaqi stock exchange. This would be continued support of the Iraqi citizens and the growth of the country of Iraq. Well maybe money does get attention, agree, especially in economic times like the present. I personally would prefer the only attention this gets is the benefits the RV will be for the Iraqi Citizens, not the currency investors or the government. Seriously, this is not worth the attention, WE DO NOT want attention, it would not be positive and possibly unsafe. After all the research I have done on this plan (money, politics, war) - wow, I have learned more than I ever wanted to know. Can I stick my head back into the sand? Go RV
  6. I am hoping dinar investors have some class and just go about their business like an average investor and not call attention to themselves once this RV's. If one does this then the uninvested won't care. Acting like you won the lottery or the Reader's digest sweepstakes and storming the banks like a black Friday sale at Walmart will surely create attention and drama. Oh goodness, no one wants this kind of press coverage. The government is not going to want press coverage on this IMO. Wealthy people do not discuss their finances. I think for many involved in this investment being wealthy is going to be a level of thinking most will not be able to wrap their head around. My advise and the advise of many who have spoken up on this forum, is to be discreet. I am sure there will be a few news articles posted, but I am not sure this will be given a lot of news coverage. Good news is not covered in the news media. "Not surprisingly, Google leads the pack with a 20 percent jump in price on April 18, 2008. Google's stock closed at $539.41 per share, up $89.87 from the previous day after the company reported that its first-quarter earnings were far beyond experts' expectations." Read more: Biggest Stock Gains in History When the stock for google jumped I didn't see news reports about folks who made millions. Fox news did not show stock investors jumping around shouting "I'm RICH". Does anyone know who made millions? I am sure there were individual folks and large corporate investors who were made wealthy that day. I bet there were a ton of folks who shook their heads in disbelief that said "shouda, coulda, woulda", myself included. For whatever reason, I was't invested. Then of course there were a huge amount of people who would never pay attention to the stock exchange. Practice the act of being wealthy and use discretion...
  7. Here is an article that will explain. Thanks for the post - Positive directions - Iraq: Committee formed to implement Article 140 13/05/2011 19:47
Baghdad, May 13(AKnews) - The Iraqi parliament voted to form a committee that includes the representatives of the political blocs to implement Article 140 of the Constitution.
The Committee undertook providing compensation to affected people by the policy of the former regime in a number of provinces and especially in Kirkuk.

MP from Kurdistan Blocs Coalition (KBC) Mahma Khalil said that the majority of the Iraqi parliament voted today to form a committee to implement Article 140 of the Constitution.

Khalil was speaking at a press conference held at the building of the parliament in central Baghdad saying that the Presidency of the parliament decided that the political blocs will provide representatives to be members of the Committee. Voting to form a committee to implement Article 140 is a response to those who say that the article has expired."

Article 140 of the Constitution belongs to Kirkuk and other disputed territories, which included financial compensation for the population and the normalization of the situation and conduct a referendum.

The government allocated 170 million $ in this year's budget to compensate people covered within the article.

In another press conference, the Iraqiya list announced about continuing to work despite the targeting of the Turkomani MP house Arshad al-Salihi in Kirkuk.

Unidentified gunmen blew up this morning Salihi's house in Muallimin neighborhood using rockets and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) without any casualties among the members of his family made of five people.

The spokesman for the bloc MP Haider al-Mulla said during the conference that his list is awaiting the results of the investigative file opened by the security forces about targeting Salihi."

Salihi, a member of the Iraqiya list, which has 91 seats out of 325 seats before eight MPs formed the "Iraqiya White Bloc."

Al-Iraqiya will continue working despite the targeting its leadership.

Salihi was elected on Saturday as President of the Turkmen Front in Iraq to succeed Saad al-Dien Arkij.

Kirkuk (250 km north of Baghdad) is witnessing security challenges and political problems, especially the conflicts between the federal government in Baghdad and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in Erbil.

  8. Hmmm for I think I might celebrate danarmadon - no dinarvets from dawn to dusk.
  9. I look at this way if you took the time to come here and ask then you should invest what you can safely afford, because if you knew and didn't man you will be beating yourself up for a long time.
  10. Thanks Dalite, you beat me to it. Well this article tells me there is a good chance a decision has been made. Posting other's opinions and studies can be one or both of the following, educational and/or defensive.
  11. I'm wondering if it's the same hackers that busted into the IMF records. Just saying....
  12. I noticed actually, but didn't comment, however since you raised the point I will comment "adda boy Keep!" I love the positive no LOP attitude you are having today. I do have to admit I like your devils avocate discussions and your face.
  13. I'm tempted, one friend was particularly curt with me, not only about the investment, but about Iraq. I always held this person in high regard and not one who would dismiss a possibility based on a emotional judgement. I thought the best way to handle this issue is to gift this person and maintain my integrity. People who know me understand I do not make irrational decisions based on emotion and fear. This investment is an insurance policy for me. I will carry on with plan A...
  14. Tandy you read it? Oh good, thanks, I thought I was the only one who has too much time on my hands. Yes some has merit agree, but I'm not up for debate on this topic.
  15. Thanks for the laugh! Yes ...OFF TOPIC!
  16. Hmmm maybe not, I agree each system is different and has nothing to do with the other, however....I was thinking (this can be dangerous) what if the USD looses value? How will this affect the RV? Can anyone answer this question? I think there might be something to cashing out in a different currency. Anyone have a take on this?
  17. Scares the heck out of me as well. Economist have been predicting this for some time. I took major notice at the beginning of the year and starting researching, the more I learned the bigger that sinking feeling in my gut took over. I tried to hedge what I could by investing every bit of liquid asset into junk silver, silver and IQD. I'm hoping I made the right decisions. My husband has so much tied up in his 401K and I couldn't convince him to move it or cash it out, he was afraid of the penalties and I still think that this will be nothing compared to what can happen in the next few weeks or months. sigh I hope I am wrong - DEAD wrong, but my intuition tells me different. Sometimes ignorance is bliss...
  18. Basically the article states the misuse of sexual energies and psychopaths are the downfall of great civilizations. This is quite deep and what this has to do with VIP or IQD I am not quite sure. This is an interesting essay however, but I am not sure what the context means posted here.
  19. Ahhhhhh of course I missed you. PS there is a preview button on the post content, you can preview the page and check your links to be sure they work next time.
  20. Here is my screen shot for Iraqi Dinar to Dollars on www.exchangerates.org.uk. I have been following this glitch on several sites for several days. Posted information a few days back and was laughed at. I am smiling to myself tonight. Big Smile
  21. Keep, Thank you for the topic and sharing. I do not feel qualified what-so-ever to comment directly to this topic, however I am extremely curious to read the discussion that may ensue. Thanks!
