  1. Wow, I wonder how many Dinar Vets out there consider I'm a pumper? I have been telling my wife I believe it will RV by the end of the year and that I believe it will be valued at least at a dime a Dinar. ;)
  2. Concur! I used to know who sung what, but not usually anymore. Great song!
  3. "If I could turn back time, I would find a way"
  4. Its the final countdown, wait I think that's a song? :)
  5. I will do my very best to be humble! God will end up with it all, but while I am a live he will receive about 40% + percent of this directly for his non profit of "teaching men to fish" which teaches a trade to those on government assistance that want to live a productive life. About 10% will go to various charities soon after RV. The rest will be used and grown helping some family members out and giving 40% to the non profit or so when we die. My wife has her own plans to help others. The money will be dedicated upon RV, but it may take a month to set the non profit up on paper and it could take up to a year to get it operational. I believe the good lord will direct me to who I need to help on this project. The holy pact was to pay off all our bills and build the therapy room and pool for my wife, and give to various churches and charities. Split the rest up 50/50.
  6. Okay so why are we in such a mess...hummmmmmmmmmmmmm! I wrote about a 20 page report for a college class on the housing crisis. I am an independent. If you look back in time there was a meeting with Clinton, Greenspan, and a very smart lady that was in charge of trading including derivatives. She told the guys that there was a major possibility of the housing crisis because there were no laws on the books that stopped wall street from basically taking derivatives of derivatives and selling them. Greenspan told the President that this can never happen as real estate is just going to keep on getting more expensive. Whoops she was right. This could have been stopped years ago.
  7. Lots of questions. According to lots of folks we can meet our obligations with out the debt ceiling raised. We have enough money coming in to pay ss, military a lot of our government and pay the people we owe. However we are so far out of reach of logical thoughts on this from the ones in charge. The secretary of the treasury, who forgot to pay his taxes, may decide it is more important to fund stupid studies than pay our critical items. Sure lets pay a university millions of dollars to create a web site to teach the teachers to understand their biases of women and minorities that they do unconscionably, Yea that has to be more important than paying our debts! As I heard on this site, our family has decided to raise our personal debt ceiling to three trillion dollars. I am contacting my creditor so they know to raise my credit limit about 100,000,000 times higher. I am sure they will not have a problem granting me an increase like that!
  8. You remind me of the little boy that went to his dad and said"I'm afraid I'm failing arithmetic". His father said "son you have got to be more positive". The son replied "Dad I'm positive I'm failing arithmetic". :P
  9. Hum! Gas prices got you down? Maybe stock in this company will help ease the pain? :P
  10. Wow! You would have to give me lots and lots of information about the mercury in vaccines to get me to believe that Mercury in it is good for you. I have worked in the nuclear field for about 20 years and I would need a lot of information that a small amount of radiation is good for you. However, I do not find this is so far out there that it is unbelievable, if they are talking just a wee bit more than the minimum you can get before you must be monitored. We are talking extremely small doses, approximately less than 500,000 times what you would have to get in less than a day to kill you and this amount is for an entire year. I say on the surface does not look likely, but it is possible that science will figure out this is true.
  11. What if this event happens and a month later we are still paying off the debt as we cut silly programs to balance the budget. Not likely, but it is possible :P .
  12. We need to do some visualization exercises here. Visualize this if your boss has been a pain in the (pick your body part here). It RVs, you tell your boss your'e not welling well (this is the truth, as your jumping up and down inside, your stomach is twisting and turning, jittery, and hard to keep your emotions in check). Go cash in and return to work as if nothing has changed. When your boss does something that ranks up with one of the top 20 things your boss has every done wrong, you turn to the boss and say we need to talk now. You walk into the office and your boss sits behind the desk. You sit down and lay way back and put your feet on the desk. You tell your boss that this just doesn't seem to be working out very well. You are leaving little scuff marks on the desk with your shoes. I'm just going to have to quit. What I do not take with me you can just go ahead and pack up and either ship it to my house, give it to goodwill, or trash it. If you really need my help on something I will be willing to help as you helped me to exist for years. I am available for consultation on every Wednesday from 9 AM to Noon, at my normal rates of 10,000.00 dollars an hour. I probably will not be seeing you again, but I just wanted you to know I'm having a great life. Stroll down the isle and exit the building then you get into that beauty of a vehicle that you just got and drive off. :) Why hit your boss? You can have more FUN by just gently leaving scoff marks!
  13. Gees Tiffy! My take is a little surreal. I did not see anything "High and Mighty" about your comments. I did not think anything about your education other than if it was a proper education it would teach you to think. The biggest failure of our current educational system is we usually are not trying to get people to think for themselves. I have served and my life could have been snuffed out in very few heartbeats. Again I commend you for your work. I forwarded your original work with link provided to this thread for a group of conservative people that want to have the republic that was intended by our founders. :) Edited to change forum to thread.
  14. First lots of great food for thought. I credit Tiffany for original thought that needs to circulate through out the country. Medicare: According to research I’ve seen, the vast majority of our health care costs are incurred because we try to keep people alive much longer than what would be possible just a generation ago. In fact, we normally pay tens of thousands of dollars in medical cost during the last few months or weeks of a person’s life, just to keep them alive a little bit longer. Who pays for this? Mostly the taxpayer via mandatory Medicare deductions and higher insurance premiums. I’ve seen several studies that say up to 40% of Medicare cost are spent on the last month of a person’s life. This is skull numbing! In my mind this is what Hospice does and we as a couple have do not resuscitation clauses in our living will. I believe this should be discussed in our educational system starting somewhere around a junior in high school. When we are just talking about the last month why spend money to have life exist if there is no quality to the life. But I am not talking about euthanasia here, just not sustaining life and allowing the individual to not suffer. Why is it that when we see our pets in the last stages of their life, we do the humane thing and put Fluffy to sleep. Why isn’t euthanasia permitted? Again, if you can’t pay for the medical treatment between your savings and insurance, why do I, as a taxpayer get stuck with the bill? With the baby boomers retirement Tsunami headed our way, this is a financial train wreck if ever there was one. Hundreds of Billions saved. Assisted Living: Again, prior to the Baby Boomers, when you got old and couldn’t care for yourselves, you went to live with your children. You were treated well, surrounded by people who you knew and loved you and you maintained a vital role in the family hierarchy. Now, as a society, we pack Grandma and Grandpa off to a nursing home..and have strangers take care of them, sometimes for decades. And many times they die alone…is that what YOU want when it comes your time? AGREED No Lawsuits: Here in New Zealand, the Gov’t pays for all personal injuries…those caused by you or someone else. So if you hit someone with a car, the medical cost is covered by the Government. And they can’t sue you for their injuries. They can for damage to property, but only for the actual cost to replace or repair the damaged item. Can you imagine how much this would save the court system and how low insurance would be if America adopted this? The cost of doing business would plummet, no more liability worries to content with. Sue happy America would be a thing of the past. And the medical liability insurance for doctors wouldn’t be necessary anymore. Health care would be affordable!!! Hundreds of Billions would be saved. I do believe we need to revamp our lawsuits, but I believe your idea would be will modified to allow up to 3 or 5 times actual damages. I am not sure how this works in New Zealand so it may be that I totally agree. Read more: Thanks again for your original thoughts. This should be debated as a package and solve our problems. :) Edited to improve readability.
  15. I must be a very very sick man! this left me lol because it is the truth. And now I'm  at myself.
  16. Its time for me to be bashed! That hope and change thingy is not working for me, as you can see by reading the following poem. Took in excess to write of hundreds of hours. I did this for my final project. I despise all poetry, so therefore in order to see if I could appreciate what poets went through, I decided to write a poem! This was written as a final project in May 2010, I believe. Barack Obama II, the 44th President of the USA BY: Kanga, I’m hopping mad! Our President is Barack Hussein Obama He most certainly isn’t a Dolly or Lama He is changing the U.S. just like a rocket But, all people want is change in their pocket. The terrorists are killing us and running amuck, With President Obama they’ve seem to found luck. The Military needs to put the terrorists on trial But, he put them in our civil courts for a while. The masses are scared of Obama health care. We know Obama, Reed, and Pelosi don’t care. They had live open debate for all to see Not! – They knew the nation wouldn’t agree. We have way too many Washington Czars. We know of least one that should be behind bars. It seems Secretary of Treasury Let his mind slip on his Revenue fees. Our countries Agenda is now Cap and Tax, Since Obama and Congress make their own facts. We know man’s global warming is a great hoax. And since this is a big lie it is a huge joke. But effect of all this seems to leave us in tears, Let’s Pray “Change we can believe in” last only 4 years. :P
  17. Okay I'll go with everyone else! Crown and coke, oh by the way hold the coke! :P
  18. Works for me. At this point fairly sure Ron Paul is my person.
  19. Raise the taxes, raise the taxes, poor people do not have enough to eat! Really, well then keep taxes as they are and allow the private sector do what it does best. Help the needy without all that red tape. I know we are in tough times, but through our long history we should know that allowing someone to draw unemployment checks for three years will not help. If Texas succeeds from USA, then Rick Perry will not be viable candidate. The best choice is likely to be Ron Paul as he has shown he is what he is. There are a few things I do not like about him, but it looks to me he is the best we have out there.
  20. I am going to ask you to answer some questions as you seem to want some guidance. Do not post your answers! 1] How much financial education do you have? One can not go with what is hot at the moment and put all their eggs in one basket as usually the market will take all or most of it. The "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" series of books is great. You may want to start by reading "The richest man in Babylon". 2] What is you total net worth? One should not put all of their available money in any one item. Best to divide your money across asset classes, stocks, bonds, real estate, commodities, businesses, and items like gold, silver, rare earth metals, arts. Place no more than 5% in any one thing. If you lose 80% of your investment, then you need a 500% return to get even. 3] If you do not have any or much financial education there is only one option left. Go to people you trust the most that are financially doing well and ask this question, who would you recommend I invest with. The top 2 to 5 that come up the most go interview them. They will also be interviewing you, find a fit with someone you are comfortable with. That's it in a nut shell. If you want a fast track to knowledge join VIP on this site. I learned more in 3 months here than I did in the previous 10 years of intensive self study. I spent about 40 hours a week reading and reflecting on everything in that section. :)
  21. Thxs for the post, you are a very straight shooter! :) Yes it would be a miricle if they don't balance the budget if they have enough to pay off our current national debt.
  22. Great question, lets see. Lower spread at cash in. Many post investments opportunities. Free consultation with folks that help others with sudden wealth. A fantastic group of knowledgeable interesting individuals. That about sums it up. Figure a minimum of about 2 thousand to 100 thousand dollars of good stuff. Other than that a many more items that will help create permanent wealth. :D
  23. Let common sense be your guideline. I have a fantastic professional money planner. His comment is best to have less than 2% in this speculation. Kanga if you put in more than 5% of your net worth, I think you might want to rethink having me working with you. It is hard not to put over 5% of net worth into this, but I always fall back to this knowledgeable persons comments. I believe this will indeed RV in under 5 months. But if for some reason it takes 10 more years are you ready to go the distance? I believe at least 75% chance will RV this month. Yes, I getting ready to do a happy dance. :D
  24. Undoubtedly it is. Please go to the lop forum, which you can find by clicking forums. There you will find lots of nice folks to talk to and become friends with.
