I understood it the same way k98 at 1dinar to 1dollar, the only thing that worries me is the zero's part. I don't think any of us know for a fact what they are meaning, as much as I hate it, I think it sounds like an re-denomination then RV to that $1. Then I would almost break even. But then another article on C_H talking about foreign direct investment thru a stable currency and competitive, MARKET based exchange rates. That would be better to let the market change the rates, or at least better than an lop. And correct me if I'm wrong but did not Shabibi say that the articles and talk out there was a bunch of dope. And also he talked about the trillions being Digital. But I sure do like that 1Dinar=1Dollar, all we can do is wait and see, and be pleasantly surprised, I HOPE

Sucma, the only way I would do it is find a bank that deals in foriegn currency then open a non-interest bearing account, then upon RV time, the bank will pretty much handle the rest for you. I for one, am going to pay whatever percent capital gains that is due upon cashing in, that way Uncle Sam can not tell me what to do with the rest And I don't have to look over my shoulder at tax time. Your money is covered at any amount by the FDIC thru Dec 2012. I'm also sure Adam is going to have places for us to cash in other than using Dtrade. That will probably be my first choice. Email Adam and I'm sure he can answer these questions better than I can. Hope it happens SOON$$$$

Yes it was on my junk email, was really surprised when I went to it, and no mention or dinar mentioned on the advertisement. I guess it's just a gimmick to grab your attention. My cash out plan was to be with Ali, but now I am going to see if any banks in the Amarillo Tx area deal with foriegn currencies. If not then i hope Adam can point me in the right direction.

That ad itself is a scam, I went to it and it ask for your email, then it connects you to a video of a lady trying to sell you information on other currency trading. You pay them $49.95 for this info that is supposably a $500 value. BUT when you go to this site there is NOTHING mentioned about the Dinar that I seen anyway. It's also on another dinar site,dd. ..After exiting from the site I recieved at least 3 emails within a 30 minute period.

Great Job Upgradeable, I guess I for one have been rather Harsh with some of my replies, however when someone comes on with their first post and bashes this site I tend to raise my hackels and bite. The reason I paid to be a member is that I believe this site is the best and that the staff do a great job, so I chose to support it the best I can. There is alot of good people on here and we get pi$$ed when people try to tear us down. If my bite has ever been out of line, I apoligize to the Mods and Members. We southern folks just tend to say what's on our mind.

Rich, I also spent some time today reading about the Turkey RV and how it all went down. It will get u thinking for sure. I've always believed in this investment but have never trusted Iraq. Shabibi is a very smart man and he is going to do what is best for Iraq regardless. But over the past 48 hours many articles have been about the zero's. Pumpers and bashers I pay no attention to, however the news articles alone can leave you wondering. For the first time since I have been in this I am worried that things may not turn out as we hope. We interpret things in different ways than the Iraqi's may be meaning, but some of the articles are pretty straight forward. I'm not being negative, just becoming concerned. I'm no financial or ecomonic major, just a poor cop who would really like this to happen,, but to me things look like they could go south on us on this deal. But even with an LOP and with an RV back to pre-war rates we would still make a little profit. Even with a small profit we still come out winners. And at the speed they are now appearing to be working on this, we may just see something sooner than we thought. Just hopin' for no LOP!
