Great Post. When this song was released - our unit (181 AS) was one of the first groups of military personnel who got to hear this song. I have to say - the most important thing about what we do (flying as a crew member) is to ensure those who have fallen in the line of duty are taken care of - ALL the way home. The respect and admiration that these men and women get is awesome - and much appreciated by their families and by other service members. No matter the branch of service. I love being a C-130 Loadmaster out of Ft. Worth - NAS JRB Carswell Field. As my time is coming to and end with the unit as I look forward to retirement- I never forget all the "Fallen Soldier" ceremonies that I had the honor to be apart of. Those memories will last a life time. We perform these ceremonies all over the world for our men and women who gave the "Ultimate" sacrifice. After much consideration - and having been over there experiencing life there with the people and what they have to go through, after reading every one's opinion on this matter - I will go with: 1 IQD = $1.18 USD for the first 6 months. After that - I see it increasing to 1 IQD = $3.03 USD. It will never be higher than $3.50 per IQD. JMO~

I have had my dinars since they were released. I got mine from a seller in Iraq - way long ago. In a galaxy far - far away.

Adam, I wished that I could take a pic of my dinars. I placed them in a safety security box many year ago after returning from Iraq. Funny thing is - I have since lost that key to the security box - so it's gonna cost me $150.00 to get to my dinars when the time comes to cash in. ha ha ha ha

Okay - here's my take on this - and please if anyone else who watched it can add on great. 1. Human Rights - Discussion on what was taking place to ensure Human rights for the people of Iraq. 2. Removal from UN Sanctions - Seemed that the Iraqi Ambassador was asking for the UN to considered removing the UN Sanctions. 3. Timeline of events - The Iraqi Ambassador discussed the events that had taken place over the last year. Meetings that were held among the leaders and the100 day evaluation and the Arab Summit. I didn't get to catch all of it. Sorry. I am sure others will add to this post or others will post articles.
