  1. thank you. We have plenty of food, a generator on standby for where ever we go, water and patience as well as offers of a place to stay though they are all in the area of mandatory evacuation for later today. They feel they are safe. And they are safer than we are unless we get the direct hit they are calling for. So far we have managed to get the children out to safer areas and also for two of our guests. We will probably make our move out of here by Friday night as we will be spending the day securing our home. My brother is part of Emergency Management and is keeping us updated. I work at the local hospital and may need to be on standby
  2. We were told to evacuate by midnight Thursday. We live in the very southern part of New Jersey. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of choices of where to go.. We won't be able to return home until sometime Monday. My dad's memorial service has been cancelled for Saturday and we need to find places for relatives to be safe that flew in for the service. Let's pray that Irene makes a sharp turn to the north east before anyone else is hurt or killed. There's only 3 roads that exit this county and it's summer at the shore. Not a pretty scenario with other shore counties also being given mandatory evacuation orders now. People are panicking and their driving is showing it.
  3. The Weather Channel says yesterdays east coast earthquake was caused by an unknown fault line running under D.C. and through Virginia. It is now being called Obama's Fault, though Obama will say it's really Bush's Fault. Another theory is that it was the founding fathers rolling over in their graves, but I believe what we all thought was an earthquake was actually the effects of a 14.6 trillion dollar check bouncing in Washington
  4. Always beneficial to get away from sites especially from Thursday through Sunday LOL Head will just about return to normal. Relax knowing a text/call will come if/when it happens without being connected to the internet. Better to live your life now and wait with patience
  5. .....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. LOL It's only 8:25AM in Iraq, still early
  7. Amen !! Isn't it a sad commentary that we feel this way?
  8. When I first got into this investment, I thought about who/where I would donate to. Then a few weeks ago I began to realize that I didn't need to RV to give, I could start now with what I can afford and increase the amount after the RV. It was time for me to participate in the present, not wait for the future
  9. Have a BLESSED Easter!!!!! HE IS RISEN!!!!!!!!
  10. LOL!! so who do we trust...doctors, lawyers, mortgage brokers, bankers, stock brokers, pumpers....
  11. My impression about dropping '0's was now 1 IQD = .00085 USD after would then be 1 IQD = .85 USD
  12. I'm so sorry for your loss. I pray God has brought you comfort these past few months. Though we're surrounded by the uncertainty of life and can see the changing of the seasons, it isn't until it impacts us personally that we have understanding. Two years ago my husband had a massive heart attack and survived. I'll never forget that night, knowing that he could be gone in an instant. I had no control over ANYTHING. I was released from fear after turning the situation over to God. I was introduced to IQD in December and have enjoyed the forums immensely. We entered into this with expectation but with the decision we would only invest what we would be able to and if we lost it, we would be worse for it. I pass over the bashers comments, its not productive, it wouldn't keep me grounded. Focusing on the important things in life brings hope. Love Suze Orman's saying..."People first, then money, then things"
  13. That sly smile was more likely because he has something in common with you. How many people have you shared dinar information with and they haven't taken advantage of the opportunity? Of the 50+ people I've spoken with, I know of only 1 who purchased some dinar. We share a 'sly smile' every time we see one another. Too bad the others think it is a scam or I'm crazy...I'll be smiling all the way to the bank LOL I saw an opportunity, passed on the information, at least they had the chance to investigate and make an educated decision.
  14. So why would a tourist put $100 on the counter? He would just ask to see the room before he decides to put up the money. No money...no stimulus
  15. A million dollars doesn't go as far as I originally thought.- $350,000 to taxes. $100,000 tithe, $150,000 pays off all debt (mostly student loans). I thought I'd give co-workers $10,000/ea = $380,000 and I end up with $20,000!! Kids get nothing, nothing to put toward retirement....mmmm So we needed to rework this... co-workersfamily are being told about dinar. Just got into this 3 weeks ago myself (still trying to figure all of this info out) so it's in their ballpark now. Trip to Disney w/kids & grandkids after meeting w/financial advisor and investing the rest. LOL...Go RV!!
