It's ok, it's just a rumor. Besides, in Cali, it's medicine. Welcome to the 2000's Tex.

Agreed. Our efforts would be much more appreciated if they were focused on America. Not only would the rest of the world like us more for minding our own business, but our own people would appreciate the help that THEY received. We would see the benefits of our efforts with our own eyes as OUR needy were lifted from despair.

I have to say, Trump has some good ideas. I always liked that guy, and we know he takes care of business. I worked for Earthlink, Inc (ISP) for some time. Shortly after I left, they closed down the entire call center and outsourced the jobs to India.

CONTEST TIME! "How a stimulus package works"
kevnutz replied to Adam Montana's topic in Off Topic posts
400 is the square of 20. A circle is divided into 400 grads, which is equal to 360 degrees and 2π radians. (Degrees and radians are the SI accepted units). 400 is a self number in base 10, since there is no integer that added to the sum of its own digits results in 400. On the other hand, 400 is divisible by the sum of its own base 10 digits, making it a Harshad number. -
If I read that right, Iraq just strengthened their exporting and money making capacities with 3 giant multi-purpose ships. I'm assuming these will carry oil and containers. Iraq is thinking BIG, I like it. Now to protect those ships...

Would You Rather....

Agreed. This is a no-brainer. If I knew it was for sure happenning on a certain date, I could save up AND get a maximum loan AND pull money from everyone I know and then reserve as much dinar as I can possibly secure a few days before RV. Just sayin' that's as low-risk as it gets. GO RV!!! -

This story depends on everyone in the chain using the 100% of the money to pay their debt. Good luck with that scenario. -
Foreign Minister shot north of Baghdad

I don't get it. If this happened in America the entire country would be on a manhunt. Don't they take these attacks personally? -
What does it take, 15 seconds to read this and simply move on? Dsaur, there is a questions section that would probably be better for this type of post. Many people around here are a little bent out of shape and a post like this riffs their chill.

It depends on who you ask. I think we will be able to exchange before it becomes an issue.

When you right-click and 'view source' you are viewing the html that is displayed on the page. That doesn't necessarily mean that it is hard-coded. What we don't know is the filename of the webpage that we are looking at here. We can assume that the title is 'index.(something)' because the web address ends in a directory name instead of a filename; http://www.iraq.alloexpat.com/marketplace/classifieds instead of ...classifieds/myalloexpat.html. That means we are viewing the default page in the marketplace/classifieds directory, whatever it is. I don't remember what all of the default pages are. Some that come to mind are index.htm, index.html, index.cgi, index.php. A php or cgi page will pull data from a database and basically write that data into the html on-the-fly. To the "right-click, 'view source' guy", it looks like raw html data, or hard-coded. I thought I would add this information because if you look a little farther in the html, it displays the time in the same table as the currency conversion. The time would appear to be "hard-coded" as well, but I highly doubt somebody is updating the page every minute with a new time. My guess is that this rate (and time) is pulled from a database somewhere. Who knows who inputs information into that database... Not that any of what I just explained has anything to do with the actual RV of the dinar though... Can I have my 10 minutes back? <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" height="100"> <tr> <td align="left" valign="bottom" class="date"> <b>CURRENCY RATES</b> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td align="left" class="date2"> 1(USD) = 0.2798(IQD)</td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td align="left" valign="bottom" class="date"> <b>LOCAL TIME</b><br /> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td width="19%"><img src="http://www.iraq.alloexpat.com/sites/iraq.alloexpat.com/themes/aquasoft/images/blue-arrow-time.png" width="17" height="18"/></td> <td width="81%" align="left" class="date2"> Tue | 08:05AM </td> </tr> </table> If none of this makes sense, just skip it. It's been quite sometime since web design 101

I was able to hack in to Sahbibi's email by telling him that I was an accountant for Prince Nan Tubotu of Niger and that we needed to store 72 million usd in his bank account via wire. His authentic email address is... not2shabibi@tripod.com lol thanks for the post FCM. It's like a breath of fresh air.
