In Iraq, if you deal with local vendors on a daily basis, could you ask a question to several of them? IF the IQD was on par with the USD, which would they choose to use? Thanks!

Agreed! The streets of Iraq have been flushed with USD and Euro since the initial swap, duh! The recent uptick in daily auctions seems to be the black market and all the USD being smuggled to Syria and Iran because of the sanctions and cash shortages. Means nothing to an imminent RV. This whole Dinar thing has become pathological. It's self perpetuating. It really is a fascinating look into the human brain and mob mentality. I would love for a REAL psychologist to explain in layman's terms what a giant snowball of nonsense this has become. I've seen a couple of pretty smart people people lay some posts down that bring be back to my days in college "Logic" class. All I see in the last year and a half I've been on this site, is simply Joe Schmo, reiterating the same information, rumors, and conjecture that they learned from Joe Schmo before them. And the information builds and builds, and as more and more people come onto the site over time, said information becomes fact and not opinion. Maybe I just laid out how it happens, but I was just curious as to what this is called. Because I guarantee there's a clinical name for what's happening with the Dinar and these forums.
