Seems to me that the easiest solution is to start a politics forum. This would free up the off topic forum and give political partisans a place to have their voice heard. As long as the discourse is civil, I see no problem with politics being debated. I have seen alot of angry comments in the lop section, personal attacks and such. I haven't heard anyone suggest that it be shut down or censored.

The fact that anyone here thinks the "100 days" has anything to do with the RV is laughable. It was merely an attempt to stave off protests. Maliki was under pressure from protesters upset about the lack of basic services back in March. He tried to show that he was paying attention to their concerns. He has never cared about the people of Iraq, but now he can say he tried. He will probably sack a couple of ministers, then continue to procrastinate.

I live in Cali, so Boxer and Feinstein don't respond to me. They know no matter what they say, they will never get my vote. You know what Brown says in response to my questions? Absolutely nothing! Cali is what the US gov is. In debt up to the eyeballs and trying to tax their way out of it. I can't wait for the RV so I can get the heck out of here!!!

I don't care what a post says, whether I agree with it or not, it shouldn't be locked without a reason and the name of the mod who locked it.

I have noticed that posts are being locked without any reason why or the name of the mod that did it. If you(mods) are going to stop our free speech, you should at least provide a reason and reveal yourself.
