  1. Suspicion? Other than the fact that the post originator cannot properly structure a simple sentence in English, responding to such a post is a foolish thing to do. Many might think it paranoid but is there a 0% percent chance of such information being used in a harmful way against you? If you can't say yes then your a fool for answering, especially anyone who would list every damn place they've ever lived or post a picture of their personal car and where they live. As a writer once said, A fool and his money are soon parted. If the RV takes place many people will be millionaires. Millionaires often live in gated communities with security, some fly their personal jets because they know they are a target, their families are targets. Kidnappings for ransom are at an all time high and you can bet informaiton is being pulled from this site daily. Don't set yourself up to be forced to choose between your new found wealth and your kids, parents or spouse or your own life. Don't respond to this thread or post identifying informaiton. Other than that, GO RV!!!... and start thinking like a millionaire.
  2. I've not had any dreams about a dinar RV. I can see .89 to maybe 1.19. 1:1 would make the initial transition a breeze for the Iraqi government and citizens.
  3. With or without Dinar I'm going to get up and go to work. Watching the news and speculating about the possibilities adds something different to the day. I expect something to happen at some point but even if it never does, it made quite a few of my days more exciting than not having the opportunity at all. It's not much different than sports fans. We're just tailgating a currency event. GO RV!
  4. The original post for this thread doesn't read bad but I'm left with the same thing I had several years ago: Because of misinformation, possibly uncooperating plans for those involved and generally inaccurate information across the board... it will happen or it won't. The article seems positive in that regard (if accurate). I can't help but be on pins and needles between today and next Tuesday. The probability of our investment paying off is higher now than ever. Everyone recall the info from April about Shabibi saying something about an RI/RV happening at a holiday? The 4th of July will be my new favorite holiday. Go RV! ps... where have all the pumpers gone?
  5. I recall when Maliki came out and mentioned "dropping the three zero's" and have seen this persist, I just read a blog entry this evening explaining how making a 25k note a 25 note would enhance Iraq's money value (*gasp, really?!) I may be a country kid but 25k is 25k and here's my argument that I think it's possible the statement has been misunderstood somehow or M's grasp of English isn't perfect. Are they going to 'adjust' the forex accounts and checking and savings accounts by a factor of a thousand? If you deposited all of your IQD cash into electronic form such as a Warka account you're immune? Or if you opened an account using USD so the account was ready when the RV hits then your USDor Euro or Pounds Sterling will be subject to the same cut since it was converted into IQD? What this would do is effectively single out only the cash holders, Iraqi civilians included who may have turned in legitimate 25,000 of Saddam money for the 'New Stuff' a few years ago. In the end it will have been a fraud from the start i.e. Everyone including the banks and brokers paid for a 25,000 IQD note not a 25ish note with magical disappearing/reappearing zero's.
  6. My original thinking was that if a business owned it, then why would they continue to sell if RV was imminent (as much as it's ever been). Dinar Trade quit selling via their now well known message but then other sites continued to sell... and still do. I'm like everyone else I suppose. I'm looking for concrete indicators and it seems that when something happens there is something else that presents itself to throw me off again. lol.
  7. That sounds reasonable TM. Doing some research in that direction will distract me from this daily roller coaster ride.
  8. I never checked it for the IQD but I used to trade the big currencies on the forex market (it's somewhat like the stock market using an online brokerage account), I always made the assumption that the 'color' talk was the forex indicator depicting whether a currency was active on the exchange or not. Since I never deal with anything but the big 4 though I can't offer it as gospel.
  9. To keep my stress level down I wouldn't discuss it until certain indicators fell in place. I now limit it to a half hour a day. My new distraction is trying to decide if the IQD will become official before people begin having strokes from this roller coaster ride.
  10. I've been watching the IQD play out for some years now and like many, I'm watching the auctions and brokers. The day DinarTrade posted that sales were suspended until further notice it seemed that the balance could be tipping for the believers. I'm seeing many companies are still selling the currency, one even offering a credit card/layaway program per million. Thinking of it from a business standpoint, if all the news of the RI/RV has any legitimacy at all why would a person continue selling it if their inventory could be worth significantly more any day? I'd like to hear some member thoughts on this.
