RV soon!!!
Hooter replied to Benjamin NutnYahoo's topic in Opinions, Perspectives, and Your Two Cents on the Iraqi Dinar
It's baseline budgeting anyways. If the budget increases by 10% every year, it really doesn't matter if you cut the deficit because your still spending 10% more than the year before plus the deficit. There would have to be no deficit and >10% cut in the budget to even begin to reduce the debt. Maybe next year. http://townhall.com/columnists/terrypaulson/2012/05/07/time_to_end_the_us_debt_accelerator_baseline_budgeting/page/full -

There is big time money in college football, and one could argue that it's a good investment to have the best coach possible. Free market capitalism has consequences. Mainly, that life isn't always fair. I would rather see people being over and under paid, but still have the freedom to improve or change their situation, then to have the government decide that Mack Brown makes too much money as a football coach. By the way, he does make too much money as he is not as good a coach as he once was. But the market will take care of that in short order. http://www.forbes.com/sites/chrissmith/2013/12/18/college-footballs-most-valuable-teams-2013-texas-longhorns-cant-be-stopped/

Gold & Silver Lows: Are We There Yet?
Hooter replied to The Machine's topic in Gold & Precious Metals
Thanks for all your posts Machine. I'm torn right now on whether to put more into junior miners or physical. I think there is more upside for the miners, but it sure is nice having true money in your hand. -

Dinar Thug
Hooter replied to MD34's topic in Opinions, Perspectives, and Your Two Cents on the Iraqi Dinar
I'm pretty sure Thug is a government agent. He collects meta-data on all DV users, and reports that to the NSA and UST (aka IRS). Good luck with the afterlife (aka POST RV). -

I predict that over the next several months, most of us will see dramatic increases in temperatures, with localized flooding along the Colorado River, the Great Lakes region, and possibly the north east. Meanwhile California will continue in drought.

I wasn't trying to disagree with you Maggie. I was just pointing out that there are two sides to every story. As with most of Umbert's articles, they tend to shed a favorable light on socialist principles. I'm no expert on Venezuela, and really don't care too much, but I am interested in how a socialist government can affect a country. One could argue they even have a hint of fascism emerging with the state controlled oil industry, and price controls on certain businesses. It's my opinion that our country is heading in that direction, and our government would be encouraging the Venezuelan government to succeed (just my theory). Also, the original article makes Kerry out to be a powerful and evil man. They were only half right.
