Iraq has not been in the basket thus far. You can go to IMF website and be added to receive notifications for each time there is a change in the SDR basket. I did this a couple of weeks ago and have received 4 emails and Iraq has not been included on either of the updates even though that is the currency/country that I selected to follow.

It sounded like the CHapter 7 sanctions were lifted, but i am having a hard time understanding the dialects of the different countries. Is that what you think as well?

im watching it and am having a difficult time determining what has been resolved and lifted. Sorry!

A friend informed us last week that his soldier buddy went to Germany and cashed in and the rate was $4. What?!!!! I am not calling his soldier buddy a liar by no means, but how could that happen when? All of this is just frustrating because everybody 'knows' somebody who has said this and that and all of these dates coming and going and we still wait. Like someone else said, I am starting to get a bit impatient. But what good does that do me? NONE! Nevertheless, I wait!

I have to agree! I am ready for the dinars to RV just as quick as the next person. If president Obama puts force on Iraq to form their government and the government creats corruption, he will be blamed for the corruption. I am not a democrat, but man I have never seen a president blamed for everything wrong in the world (even before he took office). I didn't like it when people bashed President Bush for his decisions and leadership either. I think that it gets to a point where people have to pray (you know that American activity that seems to have gone bye bye) for this country and those in leadership. The bashing never gets anyone anywhere. I agree with one of the other posters...if you don't want the bashing then don't throw the first stone. Patience is virtue!

Thanks Sonny! Don't be discouraged...we all are, but I'm a believer that God is in control...not Iraqi gov or lack there of or Prez O- for whom I also voted. I still stand by that decision although I don't agree w/ all that he has done. You have to remember, we have to remember, that we all have limited purvue regardless of our intel. So, keep the faith b/c God will make this happen just when it is supposed to and to our benefit! Believe that! Peace

This post was timely for me as I have waisted so much time lately trying to 'see' when it's happening that I'm not prepared for when it does RV!
