NIKO I was in chat late one night and keepmwlkfny and chris s was in chat and chris dad is a cpa and holds dinar. Thats when they had a huge discussion on this and thats where I got my info from. Keep and chris both told me this and I did research it a few months back and it is what thay said but I don't have the links right now but will try and research it again and save and post them.

Foreign currency does not have a short or long term tax. It is a 60/40 taxation so if you don't have a state tax you will pay 23 percent tax, but if you have state tax you add that to the 23 percent and that wil be the total you will have to pay on you money. I live in california so i have to add 10 percent to the 23, so I will be paying a total of 33 percent on the money i cash in.

I read it also and agree with lambert. Why do people make statements and then never reveal where they are arriving at their conclusions. Any one can disagree, but please back up what you say with facts that were within her presentation that made you come to that.. It makes me wonder if you really understood it. I think not!!
