  1. So terribly terribly sad. Just had this through my twitter feed. Almost 20,000 children are shot in the U.S each year. (+80,000 adults.) Columbine: 13 killed; Aurora: 12 killed; Newtown, 18 killed. Surely there can be no defence for the gun laws over there. Just feel sick.
  2. I started a topic with that tweet here yesterday. Here are some more from today. Ayad Allawi ‏@AyadAllawi Met with Erdogan, discussed tensions, how best to contain them before they engulf the region and that forces of moderation should unite. Tweet to Talabani edenagain ‏@m3aidi @qubadjt if sherestani were smart, he would copy the Kurdish contracts in the south. Iraq's production would've topped 10mbd by now. Ayad Allawi ‏@AyadAllawi On a visit to Turkey for some meetings on the region. Will keep you posted. Another tweet to Talabani Remziya ‏@Remziya @qubadjt if the scenery of Kurdistan is destroyed just know I'm protesting outside your office & then heading to the oil fields
  3. "Ayad Allawi ‏@AyadAllawi Had a positive meeting with Massoud Barzani on diluting tensions between central and regional governments." "Ayad Allawi ‏@AyadAllawi Discussion with Massoud Barzani also focused on the need to question the Iraqi PM and the limit of two terms for all three presidencies." He doesn't pop up often on my twitter feed, but it's not often he is positive about anything.
  4. Oh dearest Carla, my thoughts are with you from the UK. I am so sorry, much love Sarah. x
  5. It think it falls under a place far far away Bump No harm intended Randalln, shall put it all down to cultural differences and it has to be said, you can draw a crowd
  6. I got banned for being a little feisty Steve, you are suffering from this, Narcissistic Personality Disorder. For your own wellbeing I do hope you read this as well as looking for other posts that relate to your rather bizarre behaviour. React to criticism with rage. Take advantage of other people to achieve your own goals Have excessive feelings of self-importance Exaggerate achievements and talents Preoccupied with fantasies of success, power, beauty, intelligence, or ideal love Have unreasonable expectations of favorable treatment, lol Need constant attention and admiration Disregard the feelings of others, and have little ability to feel empathy Have obsessive self-interest Pursue mainly selfish goals Just a brief précis for you old thing, if you would prefer a consultation perhaps your pals in the Iraqi Government can help you out, there seem to be a few suffering from it there too. Toodle pip.
  7. Sandstorm you really need to re-consider your position. I find your posts ill thought out, and very patronizing, are you assuming that we are half wits at this forum? Presumably your next post will be equally inflammatory, so am pressing the ignore button now, you annoy me. SWFloridaGuru I like you though.
  8. I shall add 10) 'I'll see you later'. Be afraid, very afraid
  9. That's a great post Bluegrass60, resonates with me, no man/woman thinks clearly when their fists are clenched and minds are closed. I have also often mused why Christianity has anything to do with this speculation. Which ever way you slice it, we are gambling on this outcome. Not only that, Iraq is a non Christian country, so why would the zealots amongst you all be relying on non believers to be the ones that feather your nests? Makes very little sense to me
  10. I am not sure whether this is a good thing either. Sometimes better the devil you know. Hmmm. Thank you for the post.
  11. Yes just seen the result over here in the Uk Umbertino, he wants to spend his way out of it, we'll see! Always works for me, austerity bwah!!
  12. AWWWWWWWWWW I want one Rod NOW!! Sorry for a pointless post, but that is just gorgeousssssssssssssssssss
  13. As ever we live in hope dear Yota! Thank you once again. May is usually a lively month in Iraq, and with mounting pressures on Maliki who knows? Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps
