ثانياً: القراءة الاولى لمشروع قانون منحة طلبة الجامعات والمعاهد العراقية الحكومية. Second: the first reading of the draft law grants the students of universities and institutes the Iraqi government. (اللجنة المالية، لجنة التربية). (Finance Committee, Education Committee).

ثالثاً: القراءة الاولى لمشروع قانون سريان القانون العراقي على المتعاقدين والمتعاقدين الثانويين مع القوات المتعددة الجنسيات. Third, the first reading of the draft law into force of the Iraqi law on contractors and sub-contractors with the multinational forces. (اللجنة القانونية, لجنة الامن والدفاع, لجنة العلاقات الخارجية). رابعاً: القراءة الاولى لمشروع قانون إعفاء المزارعين والفلاحين المقترضين من فوائد القروض السابقة المترتبة بذمتهم. خامساً: القراءة الاولى لمشروع قانون إضافة مديرية التقاعد العسكري الى مشروع قانون وزارة الدفاع. Fifth: the first reading of a bill to add to the Directorate of Military Pensions Bill and the Defense Department. (لجنة الامن والدفاع). (Commission on Security and Defence).

سادساً: القراءة الثانية لمشروع قانون مكافحة الاتجار بالبشر. Sixth, the second reading of draft law on combating trafficking in human beings. (لجنة حقوق الانسان). (Commission on Human Rights).

سابعاً: القراءة الثانية لمشروع قانون إلغاء قرار مجلس قيادة الثورة المنحل رقم (55) لسنة 1999. Seventh: the second reading of the bill abolishing the decision of the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council No. (55) for the year 1999. (اللجنة القانونية، لجنة الامن والدفاع). ثامناً: القراءة الثانية لمشروع قانون تصديق اتفاقية الإطار بشأن نظام الافضليات التجارية بين الدول الاعضاء فــــــي منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي. Eighth: the second reading of a draft law on ratification of the Framework Agreement on Trade Preferential System among the member states of the Organization of Islamic Conference. (اللجنة المالية، لجنة الاقتصاد والاستثمار، اللجنة القانونية، لجنة العلاقات الخارجية). ثالثاً: التصويت على النظــام الداخلــي لمجلــس النــواب. Third, the vote on the rules of procedure of the Council of Representatives. (اللجنة القانونية). (Legal) Committee.

رابعاً: التصويت على مشروع قانون وزارة الرياضة والشباب. Fourth: The vote on the draft Law on the Ministry of Youth and Sports. (لجنة الشباب والرياضة). (Commission on Youth and Sports).

خامساً: القراءة الاولى لمشروع قانون استرداد أموال العراق وتعويضاته. Fifth: the first reading of a bill to recover funds Iraq and compensations. (اللجنة المالية، لجنة الاقتصاد والاستثمار، اللجنة القانونية). (Finance Committee, Committee on the economy and investment, the Legal Committee).

سادساً: القراءة الاولى لمشروع قانون إعفاء الاحتياطات الرأسمالية لشركات القطاع المختلط. Sixth: the first reading of a bill exempting capital reserves for the mixed sector companies. (اللجنة المالية، لجنة الاقتصاد والاستثمار). (Finance Committee, Committee on the economy and investment).

سابعاً: القراءة الاولى لمشروع قانون فك ارتباط دار النهرين للطباعة من البنك المركزي العراقي وإلحاقها بالامانة العامة لمجلس الوزراء. Seventh: the first reading of a bill disengagement House Mesopotamia for printing from the Iraqi Central Bank and annexed to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. (اللجنة المالية، لجنة التربية). (Finance Committee, Education Committee).

ثامناً: مناقشة موضوع العوائل النازحة والمهجرة. Eighth: The discussion of displaced families and destroyed. (لجنة المرحلين والمهاجرين). (Committee of the deportees and immigrants).

I at least appreciate the fact that Iraq's legislative body actually reads the proposed legislation before voting, quite unlike our own.
