No re value just re-denomination?

the rv will have to happen very close to the release of the lower denoms because people will not be able to carry enough lower denoms with them to the grocery store at the current rate. they will need a wheelbarrow.

Your father was absolutely correct about Germany. But, it has absolutely nothing to do with this situation. Germany was in hyper-inflation when they were using wheelbarrows to take the money to the store. Iraq is not in hyper-inflation. Their inflation is well under control and has been for several years. That is where you usually get redenomination. Again, I say this is not redenomination but rather a reconstitution of the currency.
