  1. Some day some one will have to be correct. if we don't believe that, why are we here? Just for the entertainment? I for one can do without it. I'm ready for an RV so I can get on with my life.
  2. Remember in high school when you had to diagram a sentence? It had a subject, a verb, a direct object, conjunctions and modifiers, etc. It wasn't too hard if the sentence was relatively short and to the point. I'll give someone 1,000 dinars to diagram one of those sentences in this article that goes on for two paragraphs without a period. When I start reading one of thes articles that come out of Iraq, steam starts coming out of my ears and my eyes roll back in my head like I'm having a siezure. I have to stop or my head would explode. Every time I read one of these I get to the end and I say, "HUH"? I have to leave these articles to Steve Norris to tell me what it means. The problem is that Enorrste has lost interest and rarely shows up anymore.
  3. It seems that would be highly subjective. Who make the decision as to the quality of the post. One may think that a post is the greatest post ever made and another may think it stinks. When it is all said and done, who gives a rat's bootie? All I am really interested in are two things. The date and the rate. I'm a senior member because I posted over 100 posts. Keep the posts coming. It helps pass the time waiting for the RV!
  4. I have no idea whether this is prophetic or not but I think it is a highly improbable statistic. I have been searching for the answer as to what it means. I have not found the answer. I see the number 222 an inordinate number of times. I see 222 on mailboxes. I see 222 as house numbers. I crossed under a bridge, the highway number going over the interstate was 222. I went into a convenience market and the had a sign for hot dogs one for 1.40 or two for 2.22. I went into another convenience market on a trip. The same thing, water...two for 2.22. Twenty four hours has 1,440 minutes. 2:22 comes up twice in a 24 hour period. Night before last, I awoke out of a deep sleep and looked at the clock. It was 2:22. What are the chances of waking at exactly 2:22? These examples are just a few of the instances where this has happened. The odds of my seeing the number 222 as often as I do must be astronomical. My wife died September 23, 2008. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that she is with me every day. It is a comfort to know she is with me. Am I being told by her that the RV will be 2.22? I do not have a clue. I also do not know why I see 222 so often. I know that I will be branded as a "nut job" for this post. I know there will be jokes. I also know that what I have said is true. If anyone has any suggestions why I see this number so often, I would like to hear from you. Someone out there is involved in numerology may have some suggestions. I seek answers, not ridicule.
  5. What does Zain do? What industries are they involved in? Is Ali Al Dawhi involved in the election? Their names all sound alike to me.
  6. No one asked you to leave. Stay as long as you like.
  7. I have gathered, from all of the information that I have read, that Iraq has painted themselves into a corner. They have payments due or soon to be due. They can't use gold and they now do not use dollars. The borrowed dollars are used up or soon will be. They have to start using their budget figures soon. The year is already well into the fourth month. Something is gonna have to give.
  8. A link would be nice. McCain has to go too. His way of thinking is too closely aligned with the Demorats.
  9. Oh my gawd, I am so glad that I am not a Demorat! (For more reasons than presented above).
  10. It makes a grown man want to cry. I'm old enough at 73 to be able to remember times that most of you have never known. They were better times. WE have allowed this to happen. In defference to the above statement, we can do something about this situation that we have allowed to be foisted upon us. We can vote out all of the communists that are turning out country into a socialist state. We are right on the border line. As soon as the socialists get all of the illegals legalized, we will be over the 50% tipping point where more people are standing there with their hands out than there are workers to pay the extended idle hands. There also comes a time when the workers say enough is enough, "I'm not working to pay the bums that will not work". I cannot get it out of mind, the lady that said, "I want Obama to send me some money"! The interviewer asked, "where she thought this money came from"? She said, "I don't know, from Obama". He pressed her again asking, "where do you think Obama would get the money"? She replied, "FROM HE STASH". There is your problem, the vast majority of those people with their hand out have never paid one dollar into the system. How would they know where the money comes from? They just know it comes from HE STASH! This welfare situation is a cottage industry. Some of these people are in the fourth generation of living on welfare. They know how it is done. They have learned from their parents and their parents before them. Don't get me wrong, I know there are good people out there that need our help and we should help them. I'm talking about the ones that have the attitude that they are owed the welfare checks, the food stamps, etc. Don't even think about offering them a J-O-B. You couldn't make them take a job if you put a gun to their heads and if they did take the job, there is no way to get them to do any meaningful work. I know this will rile up a lot of bleeding heart liberals and I hope it does, along with all of the right-wing conservatives. Let's duke it out at the poles in November. A stern warning....if we don't get it taken care of in November, all is lost. The socialist are moving too fast with too little resistance.
  11. Again I ask, would it not help if they had a real currency instead of toilet paper? How will they pay for all of these projects?
  12. I wonder if having a currency instead of toilet paper would help this project along?
  13. Never say never. Think about what happened in the US during world war II. Virtually overnight we went on a war footing that started cranking out planes by the thousands, tanks, trucks, ships, ammo and on and on. I have oft times wondered how we ever kept up with the demands. Yes, Iraq can do what they say but it would take a mighty effort on their part but it can be done. Do I think the US could duplicate what we did in WW II ? No, unfortunately not. We have become weak. China has all of our manufacturing. We have no plants to convert as we did when J. C. Higgins quit manufacturing bicycles and started manufacturing landing craft. And the automobile manufacturers started manufacturing tanks. The unions would demand higher wages and strike. Washington would want to have hearings that would last a year. Well, as you can see, my clock is wound tighter than a girdle. But going back, Iraq is still young. They don't have all of the encumberances. They can do it...with the proper leadership.
  14. Hey Frank Buck. Do you bring them back alive? (For those of you that don't know, That is a book title: "Frank Buck: Bring "em back alive." (Or something close to that).
  15. No, do not quit this site. People are a little (lot) edgy. They have been brought to the edge so many times only to be pulled back with no RV that they are being more cautious about what they believe. They want documentation....even for your opinions. LOL
  16. There are two possibilities: Possum is drunk and passed out or he is in the middle of the road playing dead. Either way he needs to understand we need his intel.
  17. Yes, it means that they are going to have to build more vaults to hold all of the US dollars that keep pouring into Iraq adding more fuel to the flames for those that say that there is no way for Iraq to cover a RV. The longer they wait, the more the word gets out that they are close to a RV, the more people that purchase. I can just hear those printing presses at De La Rue running 24/7 just like ours here in the US. From all indications though, it looks like it will all come to a head by the first of the month. All indications are that they will have to do something. New quarter for the budget. They need money. Many other reasons.
  18. When the money is in the bank......
  19. The first thing I am going to do, as will 3 billion other people, is to sell the farm and buy dinars. Well, that is not a good example. It will take too long to sell the farm to get the money to buy the dinars. Assuming that the dinars are being traded on the forex, the price will go up overnight from .86 to 3.00 plus as soon as all of the speculators step in with their billions of dollars. And that is exactly what M is trying to avoid. He must keep down inflation. They will RV somewhere in the middle, not too low to bring in speculators but not too high so as to leave some room for it to float upwards slowly.
  20. My vote is for Shannybelle! What category? I dunno. There are categories? Forget the categories, my vote is for Shannybelle for any position she wants.
  21. I, for one, wish that they had not deleted the "thanks" feature. I know it is not for me to wonder why but just to do and die but I think that was a great feature. It allowed for me to agree with someone without have to type a post to agree. It also offered a gauge for the poster to see if his/her comments are considered to be worthy of continuing to post. It also offered the reader a gauge to see if all of the other posts made by the poster gave possible credence to the latest post. And yes, there is a certain ego factor that says, "good, my post was appreciated". Bring er back! Anyone care to guess why it was deleted in the first place? I have my own idea why.
