I think you need to redo this post I heard this info is wrong and the cbi corrected it on their site.

Click on the button that says 'exchange rates' and a history will come up of every auction ever held. Type in page 52 or 53 in the .pdf doc and look at the auction trend.

After that I can only wonder that if the reduced auction numbers were a good sign, then today's elevated number does not look good. Especially if this is the beginning of a trend.

How does that saying go? Back to square one.

Was the opening of bids for the sale and purchase of the dollar and the second day EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY-ONE THOUSAND for buying and selling foreign currency at the Iraqi Central Bank on Monday 05/09/2011 and the results were as follows:

Details Almlahzatadd banks contribute to the auction price 18 basis on which the successful bidder, selling dinar / U.S. $ 1170 price at which the successful bidder Hraoua dinars / dollars ----- Amount sold at auction by the bank - the amount of $ 191.144 million from the buyer by the bank at auction - U.S. - Buy Offers ---- Total - USD 191 144 000 Total Products - U.S. ----- note that:

• selling price of remittances (1183) dinars / dollars, including commission and the Central Bank of (13) dinars per dollar.

• cash sales price (1183) dinars / dollars, including the commission of the Central Bank of (13) dinars per dollar.

2. Quantity sold in cash of $ (4.696 million) dollars and quantity sold amount of remittances (186,448,000) dollars.

3. The central bank earns a commission of (13) dinars per dollar with a deduction of (8) JD / dollar amounts purchased ie: the purchase price of U.S. dollars in cash = (sale price of the dollar cash - 8).

4. Central Bank of Iraq will continue buying and selling of the dollar and the price (1170) and earns the same commission mentioned above.
