coldwarvet
Thanks, lionfish! I think the speed with which these names were submitted, after the alleged dressing down Maliki recieved from SecDef Gates, is telling. But I ain't holding my breath! Brandygirl45
Nujaifi: No power sharing in Iraq Saturday, April 09, 2011 11:59 GMT Iraqi Parliament Speaker Ousama Al Nujaifi affirmed that there is no effective power sharing in Iraq. Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki holds solely full authority in the country, he argued. If political agreements emerging from the new government formation are not implemented, Iraq will have to carry out new elections, Al Hujaifi said. In a meeting with the Iraqi community in the Czech Republic, Iraqi Speaker noted that the political agreements within the initiative of Kurdistan leader are being averted, a source told Alsumaria. Security ministers’ issue has not been settled yet while a certain political party is very unbending over relinquishing power, Nujaifi added. إقرأ هذا المقال باللغة بالعربية

Farmall
Thanks for posting. Hopefully they are credible names to be voted on. It would appear to be good news considering this past week it was mentioned that they would be voting on Tuesday for these positions, if I recall correctly.
