BAGHDAD (AFP) – Iraq's political groups have reached a power-sharing agreement in which Nuri al-Maliki will stay on as prime minister, government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh told AFP on Sunday.

"An agreement was reached yesterday among the political parties in which the prime minister will stay on, and the Iraqiya party will choose its candidate for parliament speaker," Dabbagh said.

Thanks for the news! Good Eye! Let's hope this baby learns to walk, and fast!

It is a crying shame that those poor people have to live with no electricity, and live in fear of bombs everywhere they try to go. Those SOB's really need to give up all that $$ for punitive damages and give it to the families of the bombing victims. Slimy politicians...
