Artitech
Who posted that Cbi announcement about certain parties could still get paid in dollars if they requested to receive their invoices in dollars. It was late December. I read here! I just don’t know how to find it again. That was very important information to know! The cbi basically said it is going to be business as usual! That is the way I read it! Now I could be all wrong. Where is all the real smart people to weigh in on this announcement??? It sure popped my balloons! JMHO!
stanleypower
This is from the article @RJG posted about an hour ago:..... He added, "The Central Bank has determined the entities that are allowed to receive incoming remittances in dollars, which are diplomatic missions, organizations, companies, as well as non-governmental civil society organizations. It specifies 40% of Iraqi exporters' remittances in dollars, and government contracts concluded and in force whose amounts are denominated in American currency." I don't see this affecting the general population thus really has no bearing on the value of their currency. IMO 1 1
