The another site would like to inform you that an Iraqi Central Bank official just revealed the details of the new Iraqi currency in Baghdad. I will post more details later.

You heard it first from the another site about the new Iraqi currency to be issued.

Well if the poster would like to show us pics then fine otherwise what is the point? Should I go looking for the New currency at AC's site or is this advertisment for that site. "remember you heard it here first". The Iraqi's printed 14 denoms when the present currency was printed up and the lower denoms are sitting in storage waiting to be released. The lower denoms are the new currency. If I am wrong I would love the poster to show proof that a completely new currency was printed up and if he cannot then this is just an attempt to promote another site. You blast out a statement that a new currency was printed you better have an example of it or it is just another rumor or again an attempt to promote another site.

So does the poster have any proof and will you be posting that proof anytime soon? No bash here. I just want to see the example that you have of a new currency you say has been printed because what you are saying is the Iraqi' are about to screw all present dinar holders over and we are just wasting our time money and efforts.

Show us what you have instead of a teaser.

I think its a bunch of B.S. Sorry to be so blunt,but if you've got new info..post it! This isnt some cliffhanger movie. Why say ''more info later'' or ''youre hearing it here first'? As much as some people like to bash other gurus such as Terry K, Med, etc. at least they dont come with this egotistical garbage.

Better to wait and see if the rumor is true, because we've heard it SEVERAL times before. If it means that lower denoms have been seen, it's great news and would have to mean that RV is happening as we speak.....OTHERWISE speculaltion would run rampant and be disastrous to their system. If it's a new currency, we're screwed. More likely, it's neither. :P

The guy who posted the information about the lower denoms on e-bay did check and found out they were old and not the new dinar. He was excited and thought he was helping.

AGREED! ... if true.

Contractor knows the difference between a redenomination and the absorption of "000"s while releasing the smaller denoms. It would have been simple to differentiate the two. Someone mentioned that it looked like he was shamelessly trying to build an email list ... I can't disagree.

The first scenario we'd hate ... the second is what we are waiting for.

De La Rue printed all of the paper currency 14 different bills. Nine of those bills have been released. The absorption of the "000"s (we believe) will include the 25K, 5K, and 1K notes. That would leave six denoms in circulation plus the five that have yet to be released (until now?) for a total of eleven denoms.

Give it a few hours and lets see ... Maynard seems to think that it's in line with his intel ... excellent.

My problem is that we are looking for:

1) a meeting called AND they bother to show up and vote

2) the naming of the Presidents and PM

3) announcement of RI/RV

4) quid pro quo release from Chapt 7 by UNSC

Releasing the smaller denoms to the banks makes sense to be able to facilitate commerce post RI/RV but putting them in the hands of the public at this point means that they will be holding something worth virtually nothing ... remember a 25,000 IQD note is worth $25 (give or take) a 1 IQD note is worth $.000865.

Don't get me wrong the original post does not say that is what is happening ... I'm just trying to get a handle on WHERE we would be seeing them so that we can verify this report.

Let's give it 24 hours and see ...

I also think that the 'new denominations/currency' will now be released, as AC stated....wonderful news; the last remaining currency!!!

Revealed an adviser to the Iraqi Central Bank about the details of the new currency which the Bank intends to put up for trading and the project to delete the zeroes from the current currency , stressing at the same time that does not have a date soon to inject new currency, and that deletion of zeros is still a project under study by the competent authorities .

Mudhir Mohammed Salih, adviser to the Central Bank in a press statement that "the Bank will adopt the process of deleting the zeroes of the three , issuing a new currency instead of the currency in circulation in order to reform the system of currency in the country, " adding that " delete the zeros has nothing to do to inflation in Iraq , and it will have a positive impact on the economy of the country will not confuse the internal dealings or affect it , "and noting that " the new dinar would be equivalent to class 1000 currently in circulation and the value of less than one dollar under the current exchange rate . "

And in favor of "the new currency will be more sedate than the existing currency and difficult to counterfeit , and guarantees of safety strong. " stressing that " the Kurdish language will be included in the design of the new currency as well as symbols and signs that reflect the Iraqi national culture and history . "

The central bank adviser said that "the colors adopted in the design of the new currency will not be much different from the colors in the current currency . " And on the timing of the launch of the new currency and put into circulation response to central bank adviser , saying that " timing is not in a hurry is still under consideration pending consultation with the Cabinet and presented to the table the parliament after the formation of the government, " stressing that " the process of replacing the new currency currency current will take into consideration not confuse Internal transactions . "
