another site 25 April 2011 Just wanted to let you know I had attended as a member the International Business Council of Iraq. A great meeting and lots of discussions. another site just recently attended the International Business Council of Iraq (IBCI) meeting. I met with the Iraqi Government Official Ministry of Communications, Mohammed Allawi. In fact, I frequently attend meetings with Ministries as well as Central Bank officials. Since I have been getting more and more photo requests from my readers I decided to include some today. There are a few pictures of the Minister of Communications and I have the itinerary of the IBIC. I have also been recently made aware that there are a few naysayers that frequently try to cast doubts that the another site is in Iraq. Hopefully, this will open the eyes of some and remove all doubt. I have absolutely nothing to gain by pretending to be someplace that I’m not. Do not doubt me, doubt the ones who have misled you for months on end (and continue to do so) of the countless RV dates that come & go and the promises of $3 & up rates. ALSO, THE ARAB LEAGUE CONFERENCE THAT WAS EXPECTED TO START IN BAGHDAD NEXT MONTH WILL MORE THAN LIKELY BE POSTPONED AGAIN FOR SOMETIME IN 2012.

This was just emailed to me by a friend. Don't kill the messenger but I thought I'd share it with DV as it makes a lot of sense when you think about it. Back when Iraq had that good rate of $3.20, they only had about 20 Billion dinars in circulation. According to the CBI and IMF, they currently have over 27 Trillion in circulation. Iraq now has over 1000 times MORE dinar in circulation than they did back when they had the rate of $3.20. Obviously Iraq can’t RI or RV back to that old rate unless they also reduce their currency supply back down to those approximate figures of about 20 billion dinars or so. Even if we conservatively pick a low RV rate of say $.50 or $1.25, Iraq STILL won't be able to RV. Right now in the whole wide world, if you add up all the currency that's in circulation from every single country… all added together it’s about 5 Trillion dollars worth of currency. Iraq has 27 trillion dinar in circulation. An RV of even 50 cents would give Iraq 13 Trillion dollars worth of currency. A $1.25 RV would give Iraq 34 Trillion dollars worth of currency. That would mean Iraq would have about 3 to 7 times more currency in circulation, dollar value wise, than the rest of the whole world combined!!! And they would do this with a GDP, size of economy, about one tenth of one percent of the world GDP. Does that make sense? Hate to burst anyone's bubble but Iraq will NOT be RVing any time soon until they at least lower their dinar they have in circulation below 50 billion dinars. Once that happens then we can say an RV is more realistic. Until that happens, all the hype created by so-called gurus, pumpers and everyone in between that we are sooooooo close to RVing is all false and a front to either increase dinar sales and/or increase traffic to their websites/blogs for monetary purposes. I am heavily invested in the dinar and want it to RV as soon as possible but the reality is it WON'T happen until Iraq lowers their circulation of the dinar below 50 billion dinars.

The Chinese Yuan will be used for exchanges. Currencies are recognized as sovereign-based, and will be continued, just reformed. An undetected Chinese submarine exploded an IMP weapon behind the Reagan aircraft carrier, which accidentally fried all of the electrical equipment in the Princess Cruise ship. The message sent to the USA was that the Chinese are capable of blowing up the two carriers, and offered the USA the opportunity to comply. This occurred 35 miles South of San Diego. 28. It has been reported that the Al-Iraqiyah List has completed the draft law for the position of the National Council for Strategic Policies (NCSP) and will be submitting the draft copy to the Iraqi Parliament. This is a step in the right direction however, the NCSP position must first become a law then a committee must be formed before the Iraqi Parliament will be allowed to vote on it. The draft copy has some interesting text. The jurisdiction of the NCSP will include setting foreign policies; security strategies and reorganization of the Armed Forces; as well as economic, financial, investment, energy, environment, health, and service strategies. The report adds that the NCSP will have a say in the strategic agreements, the right to revise legislated laws, and a duty to maintain the separation of authorities, adding that it will assess the judicial system, ensure its neutrality, work on reforming it, and legislate the Federal Supreme Court draft law. The draft law copy states they have the right to form committees according to its by laws. The positions in the NCSP will consist of the Chairman, the three presidencies, the ministers, the MP’s, the Kurdistan Region president and bloc leaders. The NCSP will have jurisdiction, privileges, and the status equivalent of Prime Minister. In addition, the NCSP will have the right to summon any high ranking official to attend any Parliament Session. The local Baghdad news media has reported that the Kurdistan Bloc Alliance (KBA) has said that it will file a no confidence vote against the government and parliament if the Kurdish demands listed in the Kurdish documents are not met. There is much talk and speculation floating around that the Iraqi government will be formed in December and unfortunately, that is not the case. They still have until the end of January to have this mission completed.

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) ended their meeting regarding Iraq. The UNSC received from official channels that the government of Iraq will be extending the Development Fund of Iraq for another year. This is a topic that I have been mentioning on and off for the past six months. The current Iraqi banking industry, both private and state (banks) are too weak to accept the DFI funds. The Ministry of Finance has said in local reports in reference to the DFI account that Iraq is just not ready or willing to accept the risks. At Thursday's (nearly cancelled) Iraq Parliament meeting the Al-Iraqiyah List came to the conclusion that any agreement with the State of Law Coalition (SLC) is not worth the paper it is written on. At the meeting, the agreement that was made was that after the Parliament Speaker and his two deputies were voted in, a motion would be brought up to the Parliament members on the removal of Bath party association laws. Instead, Prime Minister, Maliki’s Political Bloc went ahead and began the voting for the position of President. There was some backlash in regards to the PM’s bloc going forth with this voting which caused the Al-Iraqiyah List members and the newly elected Parliament Speaker to walk out of the Parliament building. The Al-Iraqiyah List leader, Iyad Allawi was then contacted directly by the President of the United States regarding walking out. Very uncomfortable situation it was. Iyad Allawi was convinced to join the Parliament session and accept the new position of National Council for Strategic Policies. This position will include executive powers and will have 20 members. Among them will be Nuri Al-Maliki. The responsibilities of the new position will include national security, foreign policy, and whatever affects the country's future and its decisions. The council members have been appointed to oversee the PM Maliki while he conducts his government duties. However, the SLC has stated that this is not true in regards to the over watching of PM Maliki. This could be a hint of upcoming trouble between the Al-Iraqiyah List and the State of Law Coalition. Allawi will have the authority to appoint over 100 advisers and will have plenty of personal protection while he conducts his duties. Please note that Allawi has not officially accepted anything and has just recently stated he would not return to the political process unless certain guarantee's were made. Allawi said that the Barzani initiative has been buried by the SLC political bloc. We believe that Allawi will change his position and participate in the new government. Another thing worth mentioning is that the President-elect Jalal Talabani did not officially assign the National Alliance candidate Nuri Al-Maliki to assume the post of Prime Minister. Talabani just vowed to assign him to do so. The official assignation should be done by official letter sent by the president of the republic to the one who will be assigned the task to form the government. When this is completed the Prime Minister will have one month to form his government. You should expect the official assignation to happen after the Id Al-Adha holiday. It is important to note that, the official 30 day countdown does not start till President Talabani sends the official letter.The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) has made a decision to not re-denominate the Iraqi dinar this year as some articles have published. My associates have confirmed this through contacts within the banking industry and contacts within the Central Bank. I stand firm on this. No re-denomination in the year 2010.

Unfortunately, I have to report that the Erbil meeting was not what I or many of the other’s expected. It turned out to be more of a formality for the four political groups. Pretty disappointing. The leaders pretty much came and gave a short speech and left. The main leaders of the political parties all arrived and were there to discuss the position of Parliament Speaker, accountability, Justice law and other issues. There are five names for the Parliament Speaker position and the names are being held very close. The meeting only lasted a few hours but Kurdish leader, Barzani called it a success. I guess that’s how he saw it. Either that or he wants it to be portrayed that way. Saw the local media there, they were all aware of what had been going on but for some reason, chose not to report it till much later. The Parliament meeting is scheduled for Thursday, 11 November. The meeting is for the Iraqi Parliament to convene and vote for the different positions ie. Parliament Speaker, President, and Prime Minister. In light of what has occurred at the Tuesday Baghdad meeting, the Parliament meeting on Thursday has said to have been canceled. I have yet to confirm this with my associates but I can almost guarantee that it is canceled until around 16-20 November. I have confirmed that the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) will not be deleting the zero’s off the Iraqi dinar by the end of 2010. The reasons being that the situation in Iraq does not have the best conditions to accomplish this at this time. I’m not feeling very confident that the CBI will be completing this project which they initiated back in 2007, with hopes to be completed sometime in 2011. Tonight, I got a tip-off that there will be unannounced VIP’s coming to Baghdad in hopes of solving the government crisis. another site 4 August 2010 The meeting with the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is not about the lifting of the Chapter VII sanctions from Iraq. The UNSC meeting is about recommending to speed up the forming of the government. The UN Sanctions will remain for the foreseeable future in 2010. One thing no one has mentioned is the smuggling of oil between Kurdistan and Iran which has been going on for many years. PM Nuri Maliki has stated "that any Iraqi violations of the international sanctions against Iran could further defame Iraq's image in the U.N. Security Council and delay the country's release from Chapter VII." The continued delaying in forming of the Iraqi government has more implications such as the Financial Monitoring Board will negatively effect the Transfer of the Iraq Development Fund to the Iraq government following the completion of the U.N. guardianship at the end of 2010. The President of Iraq could dissolve the Parliament and call for new elections after 75 days from the first session if no deal is reached. The currency of choice is still the US Dollar in shops in Baghdad and any where else in Iraq. There is no shops saying they will not take US Dollars because it is still king. Al-Maliki made some very bold statements to the US saying “I will turn ISCI into a civil organization and fill the Iraqi prisons with Sadr movement members. Al-Maliki said this to a US negotiator a member of the National Security Council. Al-Maliki also offered to give up the security file to Dr. Ayad Allawi, as well as the MOD, MOI, and the Intelligence to the Iraqyia list in exchange for Allawi’s support for his nomination as the next PM. The US enthusiastically supported Al-Maliki and pressured the Iraqiya list to accept Al-Maliki offer, however, the Iraqyia list rejected the offer and insisted on their position of no Al-Maliki for a second term. After this information was leaked to the INA, Al-Maliki tried to cover it up by calling Ahmed Chalabi to meet with him. Al-Maliki told Chalabi that the information was not accurate. Chalabi left the meeting unconvinced especially after the Iraqyia list revealed the list temptations presented by Al-Maliki through his negotiation delegation. The Iraq and Kuwait negations continue and it is progressing as the Iraqi government just turned over 13 oilfields, 150 houses and part of a base in Um-Qasr port to the Kuwaiti government. Both countries will also share in the oil proceeds of a borderline oilfield. This is all UN Approved actions. The UN has no power over the Iraqi government in regards to forming the new government. The meeting today only discussed Iraq's commitment to international resolutions. There will be no RV in the month of August 2010. UN Chapter VII will continue as I predicted for at least the remainder of the year and longer. More to follow as always...another site

What I found interesting is that Ali mentioned that there is no time limit to cash-in your large note dinars once it RVs. If the initial RV is low, you can cash-in some of it if you wish and sit on the rest of the dinar for a year or two until the next RV occurs.

Hey Adam...quick question, after the RV happens, I've heard that they will phase out the large 25K dinar bills. Rumor has it 60-90 days after the RV. My question is, if I hold 10 million dinar in 25K notes and after RV I only cash in 5 million dinar leaving the rest for future dinar rate increases, do I have to cash in the remaining 5 million dinar because they are in 25K bills which will no longer exist by the time I decide to cash out a few years down the road? Will I be forced to cash in the remaining 5 million dinar in 25K bills or will I be able to exchange them for smaller 5 or 10 notes? They will be worthless after the mandatory turn in date expires/ Thats why he suggests to open a warka acct.. Danimal
