Here's an article of interests from Dinarland...

More confirmation: the RV-RI is not in the Budget Law.

Treat as a rumor.  Not verified.  Your opine.

TIDBIT: WHO SAYS WE NEED A BUDGET FOR AN RV.  IRAQ HAS “CHANGED” IT’S RATE SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST 2 YEARS WITHOUT A BUDGET.

Here's another article related to the above...Iraq inflation worries are real...this is why Iraq needs this RV-RI...IMHO.

ARTICLE: At this moment if you are buying something, the smallest denomination in Iraq is a 250 note.   So if something costs 350 how are you going to get that product without giving them a 500?   You’re going to lose little bit of money on that because there’s no change.   That’s inflationary.  If you find they adjusted the exchange rate & you don’t have any small category notes or fils, it’s going to get worse.  If they can support the Dinar with all the commercial merchants throughout the country [with electronic POS] it’s going to create what?   Demand for their currency.   That’s how the currency will gain value…

Here's an article related to the above...It wasn't the Kurds holding up the Budget Law...Shiites, Basra region are the problem (Maliki's Bloc)...

TNT  via   Tishwash:

ARTICLE: Within hours, an “important” meeting to resolve the passage of the Budget in the presence of the Sudanese.   Urgent:  The coordination framework, which brings together the Shiite political forces, will hold an important meeting today, Wednesday, in the presence of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, in order to resolve the passage of the Budget Law, tomorrow, Thursday, in the Iraqi parliament.
