Remember, no one really  knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating  their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... :twothumbs:RON

*** Kaperoni  The minister of finance in Iraq resigned...stating his reasons being the inability of the government to implement economic reforms due to the ongoing political bickering. This nonsense never ends.

*** Mnt Goat  There is lots of news from the CBI...They have been very active. Is something being planned? ...Overall it seems that there may be final preparations and checks going on with the CBI for some event...we have read announcements that its cash reserves rose to 82 billion USD and will most likely reach 92 billion by the end of this year. WOW...This will be at the level prior to ISIS war and very  closely ...  matches what Dr Shabibi had accomplished by 2012, when he targeted Jan 2013 to reinstate the IQD...

I am hearing from my CBI source that they are reaching their target. This is yet more evidence...The dinar is NOT on a normal float, but the  CBI can change the rate at any time.

There's trouble in River City.

Iraq is more unstable than ever.

CBI needs stability which it doesn't have.

These issues need to be solved.

Kazemi & Sadr needs to grow a pair & lay down the letter of the law.

I hope I'm wrong & the currency does change for Iraqis & our sakes.

The entire world needs this RI.

Go RV.

Added @ 10:55 AM CDT:

*** Sandy Ingram  After 2 weeks of the sit in of the Al-Sadr supporters at the Iraqi parliament building and in the green zone, Iraq's supreme judicial council said...it lacks the authority to dissolve parliament...under the constitution parliament can only be dissolved by an absolute majority vote in the house following a request by 1/3 of deputies or by the prime minister with the approval of the president...

Thanks for bringing this up Ron. This has been on my mind of awhile.

I recollect Abadi passing years ago their version of an EO Executive Order to have the authority to dissolve

Parliament and rule with PM and their version of our cabinet (Deputies) what ever the term is.

This above quote from Sandy seems to contradict that.

Parliament can only dissolve themselves?🤣

Sounds like as per usual Wacky Iraqi politics
