I could possibly help. But I have a few questions:

• Do you have to go outside the Wire?
  
• Are you going to the Green Zone?
  
• If your going to the Green Zone you may want to call a Security Company thats over there they will be able to help before the military and thats all the people I know thats currently there. I can get in touch with a few of my old army buddies who are at BIAP.
  

If you going to the green zone you will not need to find a translator. They are every where.

Your post got me curious and I tried to search if we could go there. Everything I saw on GOogle and Ask.Com, etc says US Citizens cannot go to Iraq. If I am wrong, someone please correct me, in a nice way LOL.

This is what I was referring to. I did not know an Avg Joe US Civilian can just "book a flight" to Iraq. I thought, and what little info I could pull up verified, unless you are green-lighted thru the State Dept to go there, you ain't going. Now if I am wrong on this, please show me a link where you can go there.
