4-17-2020  *** Something worth noting ***  There's a lot of buzz about the History of the Central Bank of Iraq video.  Why did the CBI release this video?  Who's the video for?  U.S. investors?  Iraqi citizens?  Is the purpose to reassure investors that the CBI is a safe and reliable bank to deal with?  Or is the purpose to reassure the citizens of Iraq that the CBI is strong and new notes are coming.  The timing of release is very interesting.  The production date at the end says 2019 so it's a new release.  If you'd like to watch the video...it's on yesterday (Thursday) morning's Opinion by Frank.

So the pressure is on to conclude this government short

 

.....Jeff    Trump has this timed perfectly so Iraq quarantine period ends, they change the rate... And by the time the U.S. quarantine period ends the change has already occurred and a few people may have gotten a chance to get to the bank.  Some can't because some states have tighter restrictions on the banks.  Where I'm at our banks are open...The ISX is going to come back online as of Sunday the 26th...

The Central Bank of Iraq published a documentary film of its production on the history and story of the Iraqi currency.
 

The film shifts lists the Iraqi economy and the conditions of emancipation from the Ottoman lira and the pound sterling, through the formation of what formerly was known as the Committee of the Iraqi currency, which later became the National Bank of Iraq, and then to the Central Bank of Iraq Foundation.
