{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Constitutional Amendments Committee, chaired by MP Faleh Al-Sari, Chairman of the Committee, and its members attended today, Tuesday, a meeting to complete the discussion of proposals to amend the provisions of the current constitution.
During the eleventh meeting of the Committee, the paragraphs of Chapter Three on the federal authorities were reviewed and the proposals were studied in detail to arrive at a clear vision that contributes to the maturity of the constitutional amendments, and the enhancement of the principle of administrative decentralization and separation of powers.
The meeting called on the research centers and those who specialize in the field of law, jurisprudence and constitutional systems as well as citizens to communicate directly and indirectly with the committee in order to provide it with proposals to amend the constitution.

The Constitutional Amendments Committee, chaired by Deputy Falih Al-Sari, Chairman of the Committee, and its members attended on Tuesday 17/12/2019, held a meeting to complete the discussion of proposals to amend the provisions of the current constitution.

The Constitutional Amendments Committee holds its twelfth meeting in the presence of UN experts

The Constitutional Amendments Committee held its twelfth meeting, headed by Deputy Youssef Mohamed Sadiq, Vice-Chairman of the Committee, and its members attended on Tuesday 24/12/2019 to complete the discussion of the amendment proposals for the constitutional clauses.

At its meeting, which was attended by representatives and experts in writing the constitution from the United Nations, the committee discussed proposals and opinions submitted to the committee, as well as discussing proposals for amendment submitted by members on constitutional articles within the section of the federal authorities.

Among the committee members, the participation of illiterate experts in the meetings will provide more technical support, and will be an important factor for the maturity of the proposed amendments, stressing the need for broad participation of the people’s groups and their community activities.
