Etisalat announces cutting off Internet service as of Thursday

The Ministry of Communications announced on Wednesday that Internet services will be cut from 7 am to 9 am starting on Thursday.

"The ministry will cut off the Internet service from government institutions and citizens from 7 am to 9 am, starting on Thursday," Ministry of Communications spokesman Hazem Mohammad Ali said in a statement.

He added that "the pieces will continue during the days of the examinations of the sixth preparatory, which will begin from Thursday."

The Ministry of Education announced on Wednesday that 350 thousand of both sexes will go on Thursday to perform the final exams for the preparatory stage for the first round 2017 2018.

The Ministry of Communications announced on Saturday the change of the date of disconnecting the Internet to start on Wednesday .

A statement issued by the ministry said on June 23, 2018 that "the Ministry of Communications, announced to government institutions and citizens to amend the date of suspension of Internet service broadcasting, according to the final table for the general examinations for the preparatory study for the academic year (2018/2017) issued by the Ministry of Education, "He said.

The statement added that "the cut-off date will be from Wednesday 27/26/2018 to Thursday, 2018/7/19 from 6 am to 8 am."

The statement concluded that "the service will be stopped for the days of examinations exclusively, and at the request of the Ministry of Education," indicating "so it is necessary to mention."
