Smaller Denominations Minted & Released to Banks!?

Doesn't Ali's family have some bank ownership in Iraq. Thought I had read that in a chat somewhere. If so then wouldn't he know if banks already have the smaller denoms on hand? Edited July 6, 2010 by nowhammies

I'm a new small-time dinar investor (just purchased dinar yesterday). this news posted here...can i take that to mean that my dinar (denominated in 10k notes) will still hold their value even though Iraqi banks will be using smaller bills? once again, as a new investor, i'm just needing some clarification. clearly that's the assumption, otherwise, why buy dinar if the rv doesn't mean this. thanks in advance.

Those are Saddam era, i.e. worthless. Although, currently, they're probably worth me than our modern era dinar!!

I saw on the KTF site that the coins were out and some guy on that same site figured by the cost of the amount of coins released the RV was going to be $3.22 but then again I asked him how he did his math and he hasnt responded so thats a rumor for now. Just throwing this out there about the coins.

I have had 50, 250 and 500 for at least 3 months now. Thet have been out for awhile. Lt sent them to me direct from Iraq in Mis May. Who knows whats going on. The sooner the RV the better.

Why would they reference these dinars in this article?????? They look identical to the ones I have blown up. I am very confused... did they reprint these and havent circulated them yet or what. I don't want to excite anyone but this is very confusing to me... PLEASE HELP!!!

I saw that posting as well, and also posted in buying and selling currency earlier today that you can buy the coins, although the CBI states they are not in circulation....funny how they're being and have been being sold off of www.silvergreetings.com for some time now.
