If I understand this right, the Kurds think that because they covered Bagdad's butt when ISIS came flooding over the border and Maliki's paper Army dropped their weapons and made dust outta there that they (the Kurds) should be rewarded with more land which may or may not include Mosul and may or may not include rich oil fields.

Off hand I think these parties could bicker on this for a decade without breaking a sweat. 

Anybody think of a way around this?

....Now that Iraq has a Federal Court established, it would be up to the Federal Court, I would think if the two sides couldn't come to a decision and needed a mediator...I'm not 100% on this but I think matters like this was what the Federal Court was established for....jmho
