Said Deputy Interior Minister Aqil al-Khazali, Tuesday, to submit his resignation from the Dawa Party, for the purpose of a full-time security to work to work independently and impartially.

Something about this has an awful stench.... I just cannot see how anyone belonging to The Dawa Party is going to completely renounce his beliefs and all his party connections and then take a job in security.....a private job in Iraqi security? I'm not buying this. 

Is this guy attempting to try and become a Technocrat ? I don't think these politicians understand that a technocrat is a person with a college degree in a given area of specialization and who have never held political positions or party affiliations.

How can a Iraqi politician not see the writing on the wall at this time ? No where to run ( can't leave Iraq) no where to hide ( probably cannot safely leave the green zone). Yes . I am now with the Good Guys !
