The opening offers the sale and purchase of foreign currency in the window of the Central Bank of Iraq
on Sunday, 22/11/2015  and the results were as follows:

The central bank opens the weekly auction to sell $ 236 million


2015/11/22 - All Iraq News

Recorded the Iraqi Central Bank sales, on Sunday, at the opening of the weekly auction for the sale of foreign currency sale of $ 263 million.

According to a statement of the bank, the agency received all of Iraq [where] a copy of "The amount sold volume today totaled 263 million, and 783 thousand, and $ 650, priced at 1166 dinars exchange rate to the dollar, and with the participation of 25 banks and 18 financial conversion company." 

He pointed out that " the amount of remittances and credits amounted to 234 million and 423 thousand and $ 650, while the quantity sold in cash 29 million and 360 thousand dollars. 

"The statement said that" the Iraqi Central Bank to continue buying and selling dollars at 1166 dinars, "adding that" the sale of remittances price of 1187 dinars / dollar, including the commission of the Central Bank of $ 21 dinars per dollar, with total cash sales price of the dollar in 1190 dinar / dollar, including the commission of the Central Bank of $ 24 dinars per dollar.

That's how the CBI has been able to survive all of these years. I do look forward to the day when all of that changes for them. That's why I am a strong advocate of the one to one ratio because no one wants to use the dinar at it's present value.
