Thanks for posting this poll SUNGLASS...........I took the poll and was shocked by the results.

All I can think is - "how many unamerican people are taking this poll". The results will definitely be published , so I hope Americans who are proud of our country will go online and vote. We need to stand up and be heard. The results when I took it were 44% vs 43% vs 12 % - shocking...!

If you noticed ABC news doesn't wear their lapel pens of the American Flag anymore. They banned them because of the Arizona law... I say boycott ABC there are plenty of other news organizations you can watch.. I wonder when the silent majority will stand up.. Hmmm maybe they will wait until it is too late. :angry:

Amen bro!

Maybe we need to start a letter writing campaign to our respective Governors asking for their position on this very thing... and then coordinate with Texas in forming a new country. Texas was a country before they handed over their state to the US. Time to tell Washington we're done with them, especially if they're going to be a the seat of a Marxist central government. If we can get enough states to go in with Texas all at once as a block... locking down the military bases and National Guard instalations, it might could be done without a shot fired. We'll take the flag and constitution like I said before, and Obama and the Dems can have the dregs and social parasites. Post RV I bet we have enough money to fund the secession.

percentages were at 47% to 41% not to ban. I cant believe its even that close or should be in question at all. The PC mentality of some people in America has ruined much of what makes this country great-IMO

The following is a narrative taken from a 2008 Sunday morning televised "Meet The Press'. The author (Dale Lindsborg) is employed by none other than the very liberal Washington Post!!

From Sunday's 07 Sept. 2008 11:48:04 EST, Televised "Meet the Press" THE THEN Senator Obama

was asked about his stance on the American Flag.

General Bill Ginn' USAF (ret.) asked Obama to explain WHY he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played. The General stated to Obama that according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171...During rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least, "Stand and Face It".

NOW GET THIS!! - - - - -

'Senator' Obama replied:

"As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides". "There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression.." "The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that sort of thing."

Obama continued: "The National Anthem should be 'swapped' for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing'. It's my intention, if elected, to disarm America to the level of acceptance to our Middle East Brethren. Unfortunately this Poll is going on while "dialed in" parents and responsible family members and Americans are paying attention to Graduation ceremonies and last minute details regarding the end of the academic year. Obviously right minded cirtizens have not chimed in yet. We simply cannot let Marxism riegn. I was just visiting theGREAT STATE OF TEXAS last week. And let me tell you ,I felt safe from liberalism,and stupidity there!

I am now back home focusing on the end of the school year and Graduations for one of my own children and other relatives and freinds. I encourage us all focus on family, Country and preserving what is right. The Flag Flies Freely on the front of my house and always will!

I read Obama, had once made the statement...the american flag needs to be retired and redesigned. Because it is considered a hate symbol in most of the world.... Maybe this stems from that comment.

Wake up peeps -- this is all part of the UN CHARTER replacing the U.S. CONSTITUTION. It's all about the ONE WORLD GOVT -- plain and simple !!
