Thanks waterman...The worse problem the US faces are the people that voted for Obozo (just for you 'Dinarian')...They were played like rats to the sound of the 'Piedpiper' to be self righteous in their narrow minded and shallow thinking that Obozo was a savior of their weak mentality. In researching a candidate to assume the office of ''Commander in Chief' 'and to lead a super nation, if all you can come up with is sealed files and a junior senator. This with a minimal amount of common sense should registered a ''Next''...The Obamanites are so transfixed on their awe of their ''Comedian of Jesters'' that with the help of mass voter fraud and the MSM they put the imposer back in office for a second term...

Thanks wm13, I love to listen to Willie.  Even though some may feel he is on the Fringe, he has been right on his geopolitical speculation, and as of today the EU imposing more sanctions on Russia, while Spain is imploding and hundreds of thousands are rioting to pull away from the EU.  IMO this sanction game is just that a game.  Do they really think that Russia/Putin is going to cave?  I'm pretty sure he's not, and that's why Russia has made moves to dump the dollar and set up their own developmental bank.  They just signed a  400B dollar deal for the largest piipeline in the world.  The following article sites Spain is Moving Toward Civil War.  I call it Revolucio'n.  Notice Spanish Govt says 470,000 to 520,000 demonstrating in Barcelona.  Barcelona Police say 1.8 M at Pro- Independence Demo.  Looks like the people have finally had enough.

The Spanish government is militarizing gearing up for violent protests against the EU that are expected to turn up before a hot autumn. Spain is now equipping the police with about one billion million euros with new combat equipment. Violent protests in Spain since the crisis began almost a daily occurrence. Movements such as 25 de Mayo or the Indignados call Spaniards of all strata of the population to protest against the government on the streets. The police will always respond violently. They cover up their brutal responses by banning any video of police beatings making it a crime in itself. This is certainly illustrating the loss of freedom and any democratic process within Europe. The police scandals have only charged the atmosphere within the population and we may see this erupt into civil war as we move forward.

Goya’s painting of the brutal treatment of citizens during the The Third Of May 1808 is a reminder of what we could face in the aftermath of the militarization of Spain against its own citizens.

Since June, the Spanish Interior Ministry has signed four contracts for the purchase of protective vests, shields and other riot gear. These weapon purchases are causing many to relive very bad memories in Spain. Spain has also bought water canons, a weapon that by the end of the Franco dictatorship was in continuous use. Opposition leader Antonio Trevin called the purchase therefore “a return to the times we would rather forget.” The Interior Ministry has responded merely justifying their rearming as necessary “because of the current social dynamics”, reports the Guardian.

The protests are mainly directed against the always new austerity measures, tax increases, the extremely high youth unemployment, homelessness following the bursting of the housing bubble, and also against a restrictive policy such as the recent bill to ban abortions. Then there is the movement to establish a referenda for the abolition of the monarchy.

Then throw in the separatist movement as we see in Scotland where the Catalans are moving for their independence. There were protests against the recent visit of German Chancellor Angela Merkel that had to be violently dispersed by the government.

Spain is moving toward civil war.

Even the human rights organization Amnesty International has expressed concern over the arming of the police. the police are there to protect the government – not the people. That is a dangerous position that sets the stage for civil war.

Ukraine crisis: New EU sanctions hit Russia on Friday

New EU sanctions against Russia will take effect on Friday, blocking loans for five big state banks and curbing EU business with oil and defence firms.

The aim is to keep pressure on Russia over its role in the Ukraine crisis. But the measures could be eased or lifted if a ceasefire in Ukraine holds.

Russia says it is preparing a response. One top Russian official said cars imported from the EU could be targeted.

Nato says Russia still has about 1,000 heavily armed troops in east Ukraine.

US President Barack Obama said his country would join the EU in imposing tougher sanctions on Russia, targeting the defence, finance and energy sectors. He said he would provide details on Friday.

The EU and US accuse the Kremlin of directly helping pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine's Donetsk and Luhansk regions by sending regular soldiers across the border, along with sophisticated weapons including tanks. Moscow denies the allegations.

Nato says Russia is still keeping about 20,000 troops near the Ukrainian border, besides those it says are inside Ukraine.

The separatists have recently made big gains in eastern Ukraine. The fighting has killed at least 3,000 people since April.

Blacklisted officials

The new EU sanctions will also add 24 more Russian officials and rebel leaders to a blacklist, subjecting them to visa bans and asset freezes.

"They comprise persons involved in actions against Ukraine's territorial integrity, including the new leadership in Donbass, the government of Crimea as well as Russian decision-makers and oligarchs," said astatement from the EU Council, the grouping of 28 member states' governments.

"This brings the total of persons subject to sanctions to 119 while 23 [Russian] entities remain under asset freeze in the EU," it said.

_77526151_023840541-1.jpgRussia has warned it may ban European planes flying over Russian territory

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich called the new sanctions "an absolutely unfriendly step".

Andrei Belousov, an aide to President Vladimir Putin, told Russia's Ria Novosti news agency that Russia might limit imports of cars and light industrial goods from the EU.

Russia already has a wide-ranging embargo on food imports from the EU, banning fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy produce and other important foods.

That year-long ban also applies to food from the US, Canada, Australia and Norway, which have imposed sanctions similar to the EU's.

The rouble fell to a new low of 37.57 to the dollar on Thursday, after news about the EU sanctions broke. It also fell against the euro.

Dual-use goods targeted

The latest EU decision followed a conference call involving a number of European leaders, including UK Prime Minister David Cameron.

The member states struggled to agree on how to factor in the fragile truce between Ukrainian troops and pro-Russian rebels.

At urgent talks among 28 member states in Brussels on Wednesday, Germany pressed for the sanctions to put be into effect.

But other countries said they wanted to wait while the ceasefire continued to hold.

The measures will target Russian oil companies Rosneft and Transneft and the petroleum unit of state gas monopoly Gazprom.

Their access to financial markets will be restricted - a serious matter for Rosneft, which last month asked the Russian government for a $42bn (£25.2bn) loan.

The measures also cover dual-use goods which can be used for military purposes, defence equipment and some other sensitive technologies.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has warned that Russia might shut its airspace to European passenger planes, a move that "could drive many struggling airlines into bankruptcy".

Good stuff Buti, I have a special place in my heart for the Ukrainian people since I have been there five times, and my ex-wife was Ukrainian. Met some great people there, beautiful countryside, wonderful old cities, and some really great food. My favorite city is Odessa a port on the Black Sea, great seafood, fresh right off the boat.

I have patient's from that area and they are so saddened by what is going on.  Most of them have heritage from Russia, who's parents and family reside in Ukraine and needless to say they side with Putin.  Truly, who would want to join the EU and after the destruction of Ukraine.  Why did this civil/revolutionary war start?

UPDATE: March 1, 2014

President Yanukovych's backtracking on a trade and cooperation agreement with the EU in November 2013 - in favor of closer economic ties with Russia - led to a three-month protest occupation of Kyiv's central square. The government's eventual use of force to break up the protest camp in February 2014 led to all out pitched battles, scores of deaths, international condemnation, and the president's abrupt ouster. An interim government under Acting President Oleksandr TURCHYNOV has called for new presidential elections on 25 May 2014, and now Russian troops are in the Crimean Peninsula. Stayed tuned...  http://www.worldatlas.com/webimage/countrys/europe/ua2.htm

ISIS is really a joke! If the US and it's spineless allies would come together we could destroy these cave dwelling savages within days. But with the coward and chief Obummer and the rest of liberal EU we are screwed. It's just a matter of time until bombs start blowing up here in our country. IMO this is what this regime here in the US wants in order to instill martial law and do away with the constitution. Like skeetdog said previous in this thread with these weak minded blind followers of this ridiculous clown in the whitehouse we have serious problems going forward. I still have faith that come November the republicans will take the senate and shut these worthless bastards down and hopefully impeach this despicable coward once and for all.
