House begins voting on a number of laws

 BAGHDAD (Independent) .. House of Representatives began its vote on the law on ratification of agreement on the encouragement and protection of investment between the governments of Iraq and Armenia and submitted by the Committees on Foreign Relations and investment.

The council had been in the presence of its 179 deputies after it was delayed for nearly half an hour to lack of quorum.

The agenda for the meeting today also vote on a bill submitted by the work of the Committee on Labor and Social Affairs.

It was the Presidency of the Council of Representatives have discussed today the laws that have priority in the approval, including the parties law and the Federation Council and the Contract Law of Treaties and Legal Unified Retirement and the Federal Court. (End)

House of Representatives vote on a single law and postpone the vote on the labor law

Council voted on a draft law on ratification of agreement on the encouragement and protection of investment between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of Armenia

 

 

BAGHDAD / obelisk: House voted minutes of the third legislative term of the second legislative year, the fourth, which was held under the chairmanship of Osama Najafi, on Saturday, and in the presence of 179 deputies on one bill and proceeded to vote on the labor law, as adjourned until next Tuesday.

Nujaifi said at the beginning of the session that "the House of Representatives is still awaiting the arrival of the financial budget for the year 2014 after it is approved by the Council of Ministers," and expressed hope that "being sent soon."

Then the Council voted on a draft law on ratification of agreement on the encouragement and protection of investment between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of Armenia and submitted by the Committees on Foreign Relations and the Economy and Investment, which aims to encourage and protect investments between the two countries.
