ronscarpa
The next 48-72 hours is, IBO (in Brass's Opinion), is the most important time frame that the fledgling democracy in Iraq has been through.... Can they hold elections that are free of violence? Can they hold elections that are free of corruption? Will their people show up and vote? Does the average citizen understand the responsibilities of freedom? We need to cover the Iraq's election, her leaders and her citizens in prayer... Pray for protection... pray for their wisdom and discernment... Pray for peace... Pray for their prosperity.... Pray ... Pray... Pray.... Let's stand the GAP for Iraq......I leave you in the Joy, Peace and Love of our Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST....KTFYICAdam

We are told to pray for everyone, and that ALL might be saved and come to a knowledge of the Truth. Kindness, grace, mercy, and love can overcome all hatred and violence. If we do our part and pray, God will do His part and change hearts and minds. The condition in this world continues because of sin, and we have a role to play in God's grand scheme. PRAY...! Just because a few have tarnished the image of Muslims and Islam...which does not represent the whole, does not give you or any one for that matter the right to use pejorative remarks towards them. You mention their lord in a negative way...you know better as a christian not to judge:Matthew 7:1-3 KJV1 Do not judge, or you too will be judged.2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.3 "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?Just some food for thought. I will pray for them and you too...no pun intended.

kingjaffi
Then, again, lets not be completely blindBlind to the few that are tainting the whole...a few bad apples does not represent everyone. Unfortunate things are happening but that still does not give anyone the right to label the whole. JMHO

I will pray for them and you too...no pun intended. We are to judge righteously. Even Jesus called the Pharasees sons of satan."You are of your father the devil", HE told them, because they rejected HIM as the Messiah. Yes we are to love our enemies and pray for those who spitefully use us. But in order to love an enemy you have to be able to recognize an enemy. In this world you are either a believer in Christ which makes you a Child of God, or an unbeliever, which makes you a child of the devil. Now then, obviously a child of the devil can become a believer, thus being born again, and becoming a Child of God, because we all must make that transformation. None of us is born a Believer. None of us is born a Child of God. We are HIS creation, but not HIS Children until we believe in JESUS as our LORD and SAVIOR. Therefore, it is not up to us to "judge" who should be or could be or will be a Child of God. That is why we are to pray for all, and tell them about the to good to be true news of the Gospel, then let the Holy Spirit do the rest. By praying and telling, our part will be done. Jonah didn't want to preach to Ninevah because they were his enemy, and he knew if he preached to them they would repent and God would save them. But Jonah was wrong to judge them this way. In the same manner we are not to judge whether a person should be forgiven, or should be told the Gospel. The Gospel is for all, "even to those who believe." That being said, we don't have the right to remark negatively towards anyone's religion, but we do have the right and the "command" to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. By doing this we must inform them that Almighty God loves them and JESUS has provided a "more sure salvation" for them, which nobody else on earth gets from their religions and beliefs. It is "the LOVE of GOD that leads to Salvation."
