Hmmm. And this past summer they said they were going to hold off passing this law until 2024. Now it’s “in dire need”…. -

Judging by the picture, I assumed they were talking about US $$, not dinars.

I would think that they’d have to do a significant increase in the rate for anyone to have any real confidence in the dinar. 1300 to 1100 or similar change isn’t going to give anyone confidence.

A few years ago someone here on Dinarvets posted a cost of living chart for Baghdad. Most everything on it was similar to what the average costs are here in the US. Apartment rent, food, utilities, all were comparable.
